Bad timing. Bad plane. Bad sitting arrangement. Those are the worst things that could ever happen to me but those are the only words that explain the way my plane ride went.

"OMG! I can't believe you actually agreed!" Mia shrieked for the hundredth time.

"Yeah well, I kinda got that the first time."

"Yes but I cant believe you actually did!"

"I only did it to get away from Jason and everything."

"You still came though." Ana smiled.

I shook my head. When we got into the plane, Ana and Mia sat somewhere and I kept on walking. When I got to my seat, I discovered that it was the two seats next to the window on the left - there was someone in the window seat.

"Hey." I say. I'm going to be sitting with the person the entire flight. Can't afford to be rude.

"Hello." It was Jason.

"Seriously??? Are you kidding me? Am I cursed." I began to spin and yell. "Who is doing this? Who thought it would be a good idea to do this?"

"Stop it Jaimie, you're embarrassing yourself." Jason says.

I growl at him and sit down beside him, remaining a safe distance away. I look around to find people staring at me and once they caught my eye, they looked away.

"Are you following me?" I snap at him.

"I was going to ask you the same thing."

"You cant say that. You know why you cant say that, because I told you i was going to Paris and now suddenly you're here."

An air hostess comes to me.

"Is everything all right?"

"Yes." Jason says.

"No actually its not. Can I please get a new seat?"

"I'm sorry miss but the plane is full."

"Fine." I frown.

The air hostess smiles and then walks away, attending to the next passenger.

"Look Jai, I don't like this anymore than you do-"

"Sure you don't."

"-but I think it would be wise if we pretend like the other person isn't here. That way, the plane ride would be safer for the both of us."

"Hmp. Fine."

I turn away from him and look at the person sitting beside me. Its a woman with a child next to her and she's staring at me.

"What?" I yell and she looks away. "I'm sure you think I'm over exaggerating the matter but this man next to me left me at the altar on our wedding day to get with my sister. Are my actions that bad?"

Silence. The whole plane was silent.

"I asked you a question!"

And that's how Jaimie Anabella Lopez draws attention.
