My name is James Adams. I live in a smallish town in Minnesota. I'm 19 years old now. Just turned 19 about a month and a half ago. And... basically, something bad is happening. Something really bad. A disease is spreading at a fast rate. It's already completely infected Germany and Poland by now.

And This is the story from my point of view.

You see, it all started with a dream I had on July 17th, 2021.

In the dream, there was darkness all around me. I could barely see in the blackness of the night. I couldn't move a muscle. I was in a state of paralysis. And all I could do was look straight ahead, and see what surrounded me. I seemed to be in some... forest. Everything was grayscale, the trees pure black, and slender, tall enough to pierce the heavens. The limbs on the trees were sharp enough to cut someone, reminiscent of monstrous claws ready to strike at any second.

There was fog everywhere, mist causing the forest to look even more barren, and lifeless. I felt a horrible sense of loneliness, isolated in these vast woods.

My breathing was heavy, as I attempted to move. To wiggle out of my paralysis. But all my attempts were ineffective. I was unable to make a single movement... I could only move my eyes. I was sat right up against what felt like a large rock. Sitting there and staring at the forest before me. I panicked, trying to move. I just couldn't.

In the shadowy woodlands, there was not a single sound at all. There was complete silence, other than my panicked breathing... No birds chirping, crickets, deer, nothing. I had an ominous feeling. I knew something bad was going to happen soon. Very soon, in fact. The silence caused an annoying ringing in my ears, my head aching badly.

I felt almost intimidated by the tall trees as if they were a crowd of people all looking down at me... judging me. I felt as if there were many eyes, thousands, all staring at me, observing my futile attempts to move.

That's when he came... At first, I didn't notice him. I have no idea how long he was standing there, hiding amongst the towering trees, but once I did notice him, my heart skipped a beat, and my eyes widened with fear.

The figure was man-like. Tall, unnaturally tall. Probably about 9 or 10 whole feet. He seemed to wear a dark, black suit, with a tie to go along with it. I could barely discern his features. He stood there, watching me from the distance, in complete and utter silence. He almost completely blended in with his surroundings, within the timbers. almost looking exactly like a tree in the seemingly endless sea of trees.

The fog masked his face, so I couldn't see it clearly. I couldn't see a single feature on his face. All I could see was his body. His hands had pale, vampire-like skin, with long fingers like claws dangling with no movement what so ever.

I wanted to look away, but I couldn't. I just couldn't look away. I just kept staring back at him, in fear that if I looked away, something bad would happen... I kept my eyes on the tall "man"
