Upon waking up tomorrow morning, after that little... incident with the wrecked car, I got up out of bed and began to get ready to go to work. I was just brushing my teeth when suddenly, my cellphone dings, a notification popping up on the screen. I lean in a bit closer and see that it was a text message from my best friend, Matthew Collins.

Matthew has always been my closest friend. Ever since the 3rd Grade, we've been great friends. I still remember all the times in school when Matthew stood up to my bully for me. And I'll never forget when he would come over to my house and play video games like Minecraft, and Call of Duty with me.

Matthew is a very good friend. And now I've received this text from him. So, I answered his question and also asked him what's going on.

I lower my phone and rinse my toothbrush, before putting it away and walking out into my quiet living room. I walk up to the window right next to my front door, and I peek through the blinds, looking outside and seeing if there was anyone outside. Across the road, at a nice, white house, were two kids playing tag or something with each other. Like they always do.

I sigh, feeling sorry for them, that they, nor their parents, --know about this illness. I lift my phone back up and message Matthew back.
