I blinked twice just to make sure I was seeing correctly. Oh my fudge-cakes! Eli Jones, my favorite singer, was talking to my mother. His dark brown hair was falling into his deep green eyes, and he was wearing a black vest over a white button down and dark slim jeans.
I can't be engaged to Eli Jones, right? I mean, The Eli Jones. Winner of ten MTV video music awards and three teen choice awards. I have about fifteen of his posters up in my room, and three of them are of him shirtless.
I finger brushed through my hair before getting up the nerve to walk last few yards up to my table.
"Oh Lauren, sweetheart," my mother smiled at me, motioning for me to walk over to her. I gave Eli one short glance before gliding over to wear my mother was standing. She placed her tender hand on the small of my back before turning towards Eli. "Eli, this is my gorgeous daughter, Lauren. Lauren, this is your soon to be husband, Eli."
"Hey," Eli smiled standing up to shake my hand.
"Hi," I squeaked, shaking his warm hand. I blushed when I saw him look me up and down, before smiling, showing me his adorable dimples.
"Sweetie, go sit down next to Eli," My mom suggested giving me a slight push. I walked over to where Eli was, and sat down next to him.
"Hello sweetie," Eli whispered under his breath. Was he talking to me?
"Hi," I replied sheepishly.
"You know you're moving into my place tonight?" Eli continued.
"Seriously? This is crazy, I like just met you, you know? Nothing against you, just I didn't know that arranged marriages still existed. Aren't they like illegal?" I asked, getting more comfortable around Eli.
"Yeah, me too," Eli snickered. "But, don't worry, we'll have fun," Eli winked at me.
"I'm sure we could make that happen," I smirked. I felt Eli move his leg closer to mine, causing me to blush. I felt his rough jeans rubbing against my bare leg.

"And this is my room..." I said nervously opening he door to my purple poster covered room. We ended up only having dessert at the restaurant and now he and his parents were at my house. The reason I was showing Eli my room, is because he was supposed to help me pack, which shouldn't be hard. Eli told me that I had a fully stocked closet at his house, so I didn't really need much.
"Whoa, I'm all over your room," Eli laughed looking around the room. I felt my cheeks get pink remembering that his face was plastered all over the walls.
"Um, yeah," I chuckled nervously. "Oh my gosh, this is so embarrassing," I blushed an even deeper shade of pink.
"Don't be, I'm used to it."
"Okay, so I don't really need anything. Just my purse, my wallet, my diary, and my friendship bracelets," I said walking over to my dresser. I found all my things there and placed them in my Channel purse. My mother got it for my seventeenth birthday. It only took a few months of pleading and a semester of straight As.
"Okay, I'm ready," I smiled at Eli. He was sitting on my bed, examining a picture of himself.
"You know, I don't even remember half of these photo shoots," Eli mumbled as I walked closer to him. Sitting down on the bed I turned to him, feeling his gaze on me.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked looking down at my hands.
"You're cute," Eli smiled nudging me with his hand softly.
"Thanks," I smiled biting down on my bottom lip.
"....Sex and white lies, handcuffs and alibis, she lays her halo on the pillow where she...."
"Hello?" I picked up my phone. I felt a bead of sweat building on my forehead when I heard the voice on the other side of the line. Oh crap.
