Crack!

As if there was a sudden thunderstorm,
I was beaten by the pouring rain.
Each drop bruising my body,
Each drop stinging a cut that was already made.

Boom!

Like a flash of lightning,
That appeared before my eyes.
My demons had finally come to witness my demise.

Causing the pain and anguish to no longer reside within,
They grabbed a hold of me,
Their talons sinking deep into my skin.

And down into the darkness we went,
Down Alice's sunless rabbit hole.
Never to be seen again.
