To nurture a hatchling, you still click on the picture of them on their profile. Instead of getting a screen with only four options, there are now five.

As you can see, it currently says that this hatchling is weak. The proper way to nurture this pet would be to Work Out With It.
If a hatchling is derpy, you Read It a Book.
If a hatchling is hungry, you Offer It Food.
If a hatchling is restless, you Play With It.
If a hatchling is slow, you Race With It.
The benefits don't really change whether you are nurturing an eggling or hatchling, so if you want to know the benefits, there at the bottom of the eggling nurturing chapter!
