Rye Brennan was born in Sydney Australia and him and his sister were adopted after the parents passed away. Rye's mother and father died in a terrorist attack on a café in the city where they were meeting with some friends for lunch. Rye was 2 at the time and had no memory of this. He was told he was with his older sister Marian who was taking care of him while they went out. She was 14 at the time and had looked after him multiple times before. She didn't know what happened to them until the police arrived on their doorstep to break the news. They went to the orphanage where they lived for a year until being adopted by James and Claire Watson. Rye and Marian surnames were changed to Watson shortly after all the paperwork was filled out. James and Claire lived up North in Sydney on the Northern Beaches. Rye went to primary school and high school around there and excelled in music. He could write and sing music extremely well. Rye was always a happy, funny and positive person always cheering people up when they're down. He had made funny jokes and always loved having a laugh. He wasn't the smartest of people and was quite clumsy. He had great memory loss and forgot where he had put things 2 minutes ago. When Marian was 19, Marian had left James, Claire and Rye and had gone to live in New Zealand where she got married to a guy named Hamish. She was 31 being 12 years older than Rye. Rye had to break the news to James and Claire that he would be leaving too to go study music in London at the Royal College of Music. James and Claire understood and told Rye they would pay for the trip. Rye thanked them so much for his upbringing and everything they did for him. James and Claire gave him 8,000 dollars to trade for pounds at the airport for university fee. Rye packed his bags, said goodbye and took a taxi to the airport.
