Ambrose and Lynx Fisher were non-identical twins living in the middle of London in an apartment above the bakery. They had three other siblings: a much older brother named Will, an older sister called Olivia and a younger brother named Michael. Ambrose and Lynx were interested in the same stuff: football, art and making music. Once Will and Olivia left the house to go travelling, the Fisher family sold their old apartment and bought a small house in the country. They had all types of farmstock: sheep, cows, chickens. Ambrose adapted quite well to the lifestyle of the country. Waking up at 5 to feed the animals and milk the cows, packing lunch and getting changed for school and then riding to school on one of the bikes. Lynx however was not enjoying living out in the countryside. He hated getting his hands and clothes dirty so avoided tending to the animals but was always asked to help out anyway. Lynx had friends back in London who he was really close to and hated having to say goodbye. Ambrose on the other hand didn't make many friends in London. He spent his lunches talking to the music teacher and recording in the school's recording studio. At home in the country, him and Lynx made music together on Ambrose's laptop. Every pound of Ambrose's pocket money went to music equipment. Lynx just did it for fun and saved up his own pocket money for something he didn't tell anyone. In the Fisher family, it was a tradition for the each children when they're 19 to go around Europe on a big car trip for their gap year. It was decided that Ambrose and Lynx would go together around to country's like France, Italy and Germany. Ambrose and Lynx planned the trip themselves, going to France by car ferry, then driving down to Italy, up to Austria, then to Germany and finally they would find an apartment back in France to live in. Lynx hated the idea of living in France so he proposed a different ending. Travelling back to France and then back to London to live. Ambrose didn't mind going back to London and didn't really want to live in France so they asked their parents if that could happen. After two tense weeks of thought, their parents booked them an apartment in London to live. Ambrose and Lynx were ecstatic, especially Lynx. The final question remained: what car would they take? Their parents told them they had to buy the car themselves. Ambrose didn't have any money and was worried about how he would get one. But Lynx reminded him that he had a bank account full of pocket money for them to spend on a new car. Out in the country there were no car dealers but in the end they located someone on eBay selling a yellow beetle for 12,000 pounds. Their father took them in his car to the place and the deal was made. Lynx had 4,000 pounds left for expenses on the trip. Ambrose named the car Woodstock after their favourite cartoon character Snoopy's yellow bird. They left the house saying goodbye to their parents and Mike and set off on their car trip.
