Hey guys! Here is another story about random things! I wrote this on August 26 and finished on August 28. Yeah that's how long I've waited to post this piece of paper. Okay, I've been lazy and there's school and swimming to think about. And I have other works like my poems and Six Keys as well. Okay I should stop talking and get on with the story........ Until then... I'll see you in another life.......
QUOTE OF THE STORY:
"Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life."
― Mark Twain (amazing isn't it?)
This isn't your typical "she meets him and instantly falls in love" cliche. It's just a story about two teenagers who happen to find each other in a bakery full of sweets. Don't get that confused okay? Now I shall begin this sweet story.
A sixteen year old girl was leaving the library after her part time shift. It was 2:00 in the small town of Windville on a summer afternoon. The girl's stomach was growling indicating that she was hungry. She went to the nearest cafe to get some food. While she was walking, she tried to balance the books in her hands and tried not to fall.
Meanwhile, a boy the same age was helping his aunt prepare food in the kitchen while she was taking orders outside in the cafe. As usual on a Saturday at 2:00, there were many people eating their lunches. The boy's aunt asked him to take over the front while she went shopping for the ingredients for the macarons.
As he took orders, a girl walked in with with a bunch of books in her possession. The boy looked up to see her set her stuff down at a just emptied table. He couldn't help, but noticing that she was very exhausted and wanted to help her,but he couldn't with all these people waiting for their order.
The girl sat down in her chair and took out her laptop and looked up her favorite YouTube videos and listened to music on her IPod. As after thirty minutes, she looked to see that the line was short so she decided to pause the video and go to the counter to get her order.
Man this line shrunk so fast, the boy thought as he noticed the girl standing in line. Once she got to the counter, she looked up to see who was taking her order. Her eyes widened as she realized who this person was.
"Gabe!", the two exclaimed to each other. I must've forgot what their names were. Both preferred to have people call them Gabe, but the name is short for different names. The boy's name was Gabriel while the girl's real name was Gabriella.
"Fancy seeing you here for the third time today", Gabriel said nonchalantly as if they were siblings. "Fancy seeing you here too, Gabe", Gabriella replied back, "Well, you're working so I think I'll have you take my order first if you don't mind. " Gabe (the girl) said her order and went back to her seat. The rest of her time in the cafe, Gabe listened to her music and watched anime. While she was doing that, Gabriel was taking orders.
"Here's your order, one rasberry lemonade with a bagel cheese sandwhich with a caramel filled cookie", Gabe said as he handed Gabriella's order. Gabriella noticed that he had two of the same order and sat down at her table instead of going back, "I'm on break", he said when he saw the confused look on her face.
"Makes sense, but why sit at this table instead of the others?", Gabe asked curiously. "Well its my special spot and I always sit here but I don't mind if you sit here Gabe", Gabriel replied. Once he sat down, both Gabes discussed many topics. At first they spoke about types of music.
"What are you listening to?"
"Piano music"
"That's cool"
"Really, because some people think its boring"
"Well..."
"What?"
"Its just that..."
"Gabe, just spit it out"
"Make me"
As they were speaking a young boy and his mother passed by. The boy was reaching for Gabriella's headphones. "Sean, don't touch that", his mother scolded. Both teens laughed at the sight of the two. "Its okay Ma'am, you don't have to worry.", Gabriella reassured.
"Oh but-"
"Its fine"
Sean and his mother left and the Gabe and Gabriel went back to talking. Gabriel checked his watch and gasped, "Oh crap, my break's alredy over". Gabriella checked her watch as well, "I should get going now". She got a piece of paper, wrote something down and gave it it to Gabriel, "Here's my number. Can we meet later at the park".
"Sure, but I'll have to ask my aunt"
"Okay then, I'll see you there"
"Wait!"
"What?"
"Can I call you Ella"
" Why?"
"Because I think calling each other Gabe would make it awkward since we both have the same name"
"I don't see why not. I mean no one ever calls me Ella. Its just Gabriella, Gabby, or Gabe."
"So is that a yes"
"What do you think?"
"Okay, bye Ella"
"Bye Gabe"
Both teens shook hands and went their ways. Ella couldn't stop thinking about Gabe. She smiled when he came up in her thoughts. She decided to walk to the park and read her book. Gabe on the other hand was back in the kitchen baking some macarons. Hmmmm I think I should make a few for me Ella to share. He thought as he mixed the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
It was about closing time at the cafe. Gabe's aunt just dropped him off the park after cleaning and left. Right at the tree, there was a small silhouette sitting underneath its green leaves. He ran to her and called out her name.
At first, Ella did not hear him because she was absorbed in her book. When she heard Gabe, she at first startled, but then realized who was calling her. Ella looked up and yelled, "Oh hi Gabe. Didn't see you there!"
Once he got to where Ellas was, he collasped on the ground and sighed.
"Man, that was a work out"
"Um that was only a few meters"
"Hey don't judge me"
Gabe and Ella talked about many things. Ella then saw a bag and asked him what was inside. "Its some macarons I baked earlier".
"Can I have some?", she asked eagerly hoping she would get some. "Sure, but don't take them all", Gabe replied. Ella took a macaron from the bag and ate slowly.
"This is sooooo amzing!"
"Really?"
"Well yeah I mean what kind of boy would make macaons for a girl like me"
"Um me of course"
"Yeah about that"
"What!?"
After a few hours, they decided to leave the park and go back to their ways.
Now does that sound like a love story?
So to explain why I haven't updated this, I had trouble deciding what type of story to write. At first I wanted to write a story about Minecraft, but I lost interest after awhile and couldn't think of anything. So here is my story and I hope you enjoy! I'm also might be starting a new short story series that I made up myself. This will be called Eclispe Front Academy and will focus on the daily lives of sevratl students who attend there. So yeah..... I'll see you in annother life my friends and turtles.
