Chapter 5

" I asked you to come here to talk about your attitude cadet (y/n) "

What did he just say ? My attitude? Is he fucking serious?! After all the bullshit he put me threw those past few days , he asked me to come here to scold me about my fucking attitude!! Isn't it enough that I'm stuck with a asshole of a captain and now we are talking about my attitude! Who does he think he is !?

(Y/n) calm down , your overeating maybe he means something else right ? Even if he'll talk about your attitude, shouting at his face won't be an answer and you'll end up punished, so just stay calm.

"Your behavior was something I always was not so pleased by but for the past few days after joining my squad it got out of control , to put it bluntly you are a non grateful brat , loner and has no respect for any of her supervisors. Your attitude is shit so are you , the only reason I bare with your lazy ass is because your skills in combat and battle are quite decent and I need the extra strength in my squad , so I don't need you to act like a total brat and emotional bastard right now , so if you don't start putting your shit together , l will personally take farther action and maybe kick you out the military!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!! "

" Yes ,sir " you said quietly , lowering your head trying not to look at his direction. He was surprised he excepted you to be really pissed and start yelling at him . But you did nothing you lowered your head and looked at the ground. This new behavior of yours made him uncomfortable , he even started feeling really guilty about what he told you he didn't mean it entirely, did what he say really hurt you that much ?

" Cadet (L/n) , you are dismissed " with that you dashed to the door and got out of his office . You ran to your bed not minding waking up any of the other girls .You layed on your bed still in uniform and started crying quietly, you tried your best to not cry that often,back then you would cry every night but after joining the survey corps you forced yourself to keep your emotions within you . But this time you couldn't hold your emotions back .

What the captain said truly hurt you and the more you thought about what he said the more you believed it . No one would love you or ever care about you , you are just a mistake the world made . The only thing you had were those fantasies, stories and dreams you had locked in your mind ,those dreams gave you hope and let you keep moving. But now you felt trapped and so empty. Even your own captain said it , humanity's strongest told it to you to your face, you just don't matter . You started drowning in your thoughts and more tears started falling down your cheeks.

After what felt like ages you finally , drifted and fell asleep.

Next morning you woke up to a slight headache, it was still too early but you couldn't go back to sleep so you decided to get out of bed . You went in the bathroom to fix your hair and proper up your uniform, as you looked at yourself in the mirror you noticed dry tears on your face . You immediately washed your face with cold water. You get your comb and start brushing it softly, you then tie it in a ponytail and finally wear your hood over your head .

You slowly get to your bed , trying not to wake the other girls and took your book which was under the covers . You get out of the girls dormitory and start walking in the cold halls . You had no energy , all you wanted to do is sit in your regular spot under the tree . You finally arrived and sat , you looked around you and looked at the sun rise . The sun rise was one of the most beautiful things you ever saw , you loved watching how the sun comes up to start a new day , new hope . Even though life is complete shit , it can also be very beautiful, the simplest things would turn to etter Beaty .

You opened your book and started turning the pages , you were so invested in the world you were reading about you didn't want to be disturbed. Every character , every scene you connected to so deeply . It was one of those moments you cherish so deeply.

Suddenly you felt someone grab onto your shoulders, it took you by surprise, you turned around and saw your captain staring at you .

" Mind if I join you ? " he asked , it didn't seem like a command or a stern statement but a innocent question even his voice somehow became soft . " Sure " you said quickly turning your head to the other side . He sat next to , his hands so close to yours , you backed away a little .

" I don't know if you'll hear me or not but I apologize for what I said last night , I should have not been that harsh to you , I was just tired and frustrated from meetings and work , then I took it all at you . I truly don't mean what I said , you are a strong soldier with great skill and determination and you being it my team has helped me a lot . I won't try to tease you or mock you anymore I promise, so do you forgive me ? "

You looked at him and for the first time the look he gave you was pure honesty and it was real . It wasn't a fake mask , to hide the emotions inside but a sincere look .

" I forgive you " you said so casually, as if the matter seemed so simple . You got up and started walking away from the tree , Levi then run up to you and grabbed you wrist . " Where are you going , I thought you forgiven me ?! "

" I'm just going to the mess hall , got to go get breakfast you should too , see you at training Corpal shorty " and with that you were off , as if nothing happened. Levi stared at you walking away and thinking about what you just did . He smirked to himself .

"Brat"
