Chapter 1. The Fire Burns

Natsu P.O.V

Natsu woke up as he yawned a mighty yawn,stretching and getting out of his sleeping bag and out of the tent. He goes to a tree to get wood as he hummed a tune while on his journey. He punched down a couple trees after getting to a very dense area full of big trees, he carried them to the camp after chopping them up and setting them near his tent that he shared with Lucy. "maybe one day, I'll tell her how I truly feel, but I'll save that for valentines Day if I ever work up the courage to do it" he thought to himself.
He then pulled out his phone as he checked the date. "hmm, that date says........The fourteenth!?" he exclaimed in his head as he began to freak out. "What do I do!?, I have nothing planned for today if I decide to ask her out!!" he exclaimed as he calmed down and quickly used his flames to go to the store and get things to give Lucy for when the night was young and the moon was full. He soon came back after a couple hours and hid them somewhere cool and safe, so that they were not ruined when the moment was right. Everyone was up after natsu began cooking lunch, cause it had been a long time since natsu had to learn how to professionally cook. After eating it came to the time where they would confess if they had any feelings for eachother. Natsu walked to lucy with his hands behind his back and smiled "Lucy,you are the most special person I have ever met and I wanted to show that with your favorite things" He said as he handed her the box of chocolate and the bouquet of flowers that he had found at the shop and knew that she liked that type of flower. "N-natsu....I don't know what to say......" She said stuttering a little. He took her into his arms and kissed her deeply "say that you'll be my Valentine" he said as he held her in his arms. She nodded and kissed him back and they spent all the time they could with each other every day, this led to them going on jobs together and many, many dates. A few years later it was their 3 year anniversary as natsu walked up to lucy. "Babe, these last three years have been amazing for me and there's one thing I wanna ask you" he said as he smiled. "what is it natsu?" she asked as she smiled back at him "well,Lucy I love you till the end of time and nothing will change that, what I'm saying is that...I want you to be my life partner and marry me" he said getting down on one knee and pulling out the most beautiful diamond ring ever. "o-omg, Natsu....of course I'll marry you!" she exclaimed as he put the ring on her finger and they shared a passionate kiss
