Hunter's pov. 

Three days are left, we wasted a day of researching.

It's like midnight.

I'm in the guess room that Alexandria have for the all of us, literally doing nothing sitting on the bed. Can't do anything without the academy. We all aren't agreeing what Y/n just said two days ago.

Gwen is asleep on the bed. Next to me, she seems to have a good sleep. She looks comfortable. I sighed then got off the bed and exit the room.

" can't sleep? " Jocelyn appeared, i flinched a little.

" oh, you scared me, and yeah " i said.

" i was about to check on Y/n " she said.

" i was about to do the same " i said.

" can't really leave her alone since M/n is always after her " she said.

" yeah " i said.

" why don't we check on her together? " she asked, i look at her with a stern face.

" come on, we don't really get along much " she said.

" sure " i awkwardly said.

We walk down the hallway that is surprisingly long and Y/n picked a room that is abruptly at the end of the hallway which i don't know why.

" so, Jocelyn or mom? " i asked.

" you can call me either one " she said.

" Jocelyn should be fine " i said.

" it's not really a big deal " she said.

" it was before " i said, she looks at me.

" anyways, you look like you don't like Ein that much " she said.

" he and i have some bad past " i said.

" guess it's a rough month that you forgot your sister and your own birthday " she said, i stopped in my tracks.

" wait, what's the date? " i asked.

" April seventh " she said.

Our birthday is April eighth.

" it's okay, i bet Y/n doesn't remember either after what's been going on for the past few months " she said.

We continue to walk.

" so your turning 24? " she asked.

" yeah " i said.

" I'm surprise you didn't use Jace often " she said.

" eh, it's not really my taste " i said.

" Hunter Jace L/n, i kinda like using Jace more " she said.

" it's weird " i said.

" how is that? " she asked, i shrugged.

" i gave you that name, F/n changed it to Hunter so i decided to make it a middle name for you " she said.

" don't really care, at least i have a name " i said.

" you used it two years ago when you went to the human world for the first time " she said.
