Chapter 13

Jungkook couldn't sleep. He doesn't know why. He was as much happy that he got to spend time with Jimin, alone. You can call it a date. To him. But his mind was wandering on something. Something that he was curious about.

Without thinking another, Jungkook got his phone from the bedside table and texted Taehyung.

Jungkook
Hyung. Were you back?

Minutes passed and still no reply came to his phone. He was holding it, feeling sleepy, until he heard the beep on his phone indicating that he got a reply.

Taehyung
Mhm. Wae?

Jungkook
Oh. Uhm...what happened?
You seemed to be in hurry a while ago.
Is there something wrong?

Jungkook is sleepy. Sleepy. He almost fell asleep because Taehyung replies decades after.

Another beep from his phone came.

Taehyung
Oh yeah I'm okay
And sorry about that. I had to leave you and didn't go out like I said.

Jungkook
It's okay hyung
There's always a next time
And I got to spend time with Jimin hyung instead.
It was fun hyung! Hehe

After a minute, and another minute, and another, until Jungkook couldn't take it anymore. He got so frustrated as Taehyung doesn't reply back as fast as he does.

That's it.

Jungkook decided to go to Taehyung's room.

Meanwhile~

Taehyung, the "always-so-done-with-life" man, felt happy that even having a bad day, there's this one person whom he felt comfort from. That this person doesn't need to see him to know if he's having a problem. That this person will instantly ask him if he's okay. Jungkook. This Jeon Jungkook.

However, after replying to the younger, his problem instantly goes back to his mind like it would wait for a chance that Taehyung would stop whatever he's doing and then goes back to his mind again.

(A/N: Do you get what I mean? Like he was thinking this problem of his and then got distracted for a moment with Jungkook's txt, and after replying and while waiting for the reply, his problem is taking the opportunity to wander in his mind again).

So he felt like cursing because he was making Jungkook wait for his reply.

Jungkook
It's okay hyung
There's always a next time
And I got to spend time with Jimin hyung instead.
It was fun hyung! Hehe

Taehyung froze. He doesn't know why he hated this. He hated the fact that Jungkook felt so happy being with Jimin. He sighed annoyed but put aside his emotion. After few minutes he decided to reply back to the younger.

But before he could even type a letter, his door bursted open and there stood an annoyed Jungkook.

"Hyung don't you know how to use your phone? Do you type each letters every after a minute? Are you doing this on purpose??!!

Taehyung chuckled at the younger throwing his tantrums about how slow he reply.

"Are you seriously laughing at me? I was just worried if you ever have a fucking problem that never ends. I was trying to make you feel okay and make you feel you're not alone-"

Jungkook didn't manage to continue his rambling as he got pulled by the older and felt himself against a broad chest, feeling his heart in faster beats, unusual and confusing. Is it his heart? It's beating faster. Is it mine?
