*Beep beep beep. * Why is my alarm going off? I turned the alarm off and snuggled back up. Then I realized I would have to get up. It's my first day of high school. I threw myself off my bed and rolled over to my light switch. I'm being childish I thought to myself. I then stood up and got dressed. A coral top, floral skirt and some cute boots with heels. I then brushed my hair and fixed it all up. I decided to leave it down. I trudged down the steps to go eat breakfast. Ugh I'm still super tired. "Good morning sweetie" my mother called. "Morning" I said with a annoyed tone. I wasn't meaning to be rude or anything I just really didn't want to be up. *Thump thump thump*. I knew that sound. That's my little brother hopping down the stairs. He always wakes up super early to see what's going on. He's 5 and super annoying! I honestly have no clue how I even deal with him. "Mom mom mom!! It's my first day of first day of kindergarten today! I'm so excited!" He shouted. "Hey, hey, hey, Braden calm down your Dad is still asleep" my mom said quietly. "Asleep? I wouldn't miss this breakfast party!" My dad called down the stairs. "Keira, are you excited for your first day at the high school?" My dad questioned. "Uh I guess so, I mean new school, it could be fun." My mom brought four plates over and set them on the table. She put bacon, hash browns, and eggs on each plate. Mmm this is going to be so good. It smells amazing. I ate my food and looked at the clock. "Time to go, Mom." I said with a sigh. I trudged out the door and walked to the bus stop. "Have a great day sweetie! Make some new friends!" I heard the rattling sound of the bus. Errrrrrt. It stopped and it was time to climb in. I sat down and the bus rolled on. Kid after kid got on and finally we got to the school. So this is the high school huh? I thought to myself standing in the front of it. Doesn't look too bad and I better get used to it, I will be here for a while. Okay time for a new year. Fresh start. New friends. New classes. Maybe it will be a good year. And I walked into the school.
