Silver Wolf [ON HOLD]

Silver wolf

We ran, in human form, since I wasn't a wolf yet. the familiar forest calmed me a lot. just the sound of the wind going through the tree leaves was enough to bring my anger down.

"So I have no clue why I reacted like that, it's not like I'm pmsing or anything. I know it was an over reaction" I continued telling Crose my story of how Domi got me mad. but before he could reply, I fell onto the ground in pain. I had no clue what was happening but when I looked up through pained eyes, I could see Crose smiling. why the hell was he smiling? can't he see I'm in pain!

"Fire you're shifting!" oh. I should have realized that. it is very exciting knowing I'm going to see my wolf, but the pain I'm feeling right now is making me regret being a wolf.

Crose's pov

Before me stood a beautiful silver wolf. she was a bit smaller than me, but that is big for a she wolf. she was all silver, gold only on the fur near her paws, with 5 black stars surrounding her left eye, just like everyone in our family.

I've heard of silver wolves, wolves more powerful than any other wolf, but silver AND gold? in the book I read, that only happens once every million years. shit. fire was a silver wolf. that explains her power from her young age! I should have known.

'Croseeee?' she asked through the mind link, bringing me out of my thoughts.

'Yes fire?' I replied hoping he had no clue that she was special, it would be too much to explain on my own.

'Aren't silver wolves rare?' she knew. I just had to stick to short answers, to avoid further questions.

'Yep' I replied

'How about silver and gold ones' I couldn't keep my smile away, my fire was the rarest wolf in the world

'Even rarer. that explains your skills' I said shifting into my midnight black wolf.

'I'm THE millenniums silver and gold wolf Crose! shit! it's like putting a target sign on my head!' she said, worry laced through her voice. but I knew I would keep her safe no matter what.

'Ya I know, but I will protect you, so will Sim, Domi and dad' I could feel her relief when she thought about us, her family.

'Let's go back I want to tell them' she said.

'Now we can actually run, like in wolf form! aren't you excited?" I said, happy that we could run as wolves together.

'Oh I'm excited! let's go!' she said as we started sprinting through the woods.

SNAP

I heard a tree branch snap, so did fire, because we both stopped to look. Her silver fur was glowing, which told me she was using her senses to try and spot the intruder.

'There Crose, look' she said and I shot my head in that direction.

'Rogues' we both said out loud when we spotted the 12 men in wolf form ready to attack. Fire growled as they started approaching us. I didn't notice, but there was a human in the middle, with a briefcase.

'What do they want Crose?' she said, and I felt bad, because I had no clue.

'I don't know, but stand guard' I said as the man started talking.

"Look at that! a silver and gold wolf! a once in a millennium occurrence! isn't that right Crose?" how did he know me?

'Crose? who is he?' she asked. again, I couldn't give her an answer, the man still continued.

"I want her boys, attack" those words caused chaos as the 12 wolves lunged at us. I looked to fire and then to the man and realization hit me

'He's dark pines alpha fire!' I mind linked her before a wolf but me and I felt a liquid course through my body.

'Crose? are you serious?' she asked but I couldn't reply, my mind link blocked.

'What the hell?' I thought. it's the liquid I realized! these werewolves are mutants! they are weapons!

We continued fighting for what seemed like hours, these wolves were too strong, even for the power of the Etoile family (their family name).

My vision was blurring as another wolf lunged at me, I realized I was losing and that I was going unconscious.

Black dots were invading my vision as I glanced one last time to fire, who was fighting and winning, against 2 of the mutants. I smiled proudly, she had no training, but she was better than me.

'Good luck fire' I thought before I smashed into oblivion
