Victor's dreams were beautiful and vivid. The air was fresh and smelled like vanilla and pine; it carried the sound of soft music to his ear. It was never cold or hot in his dreams the weather was always perfect and the sky was always blue. He was standing by the lake its water the clearest blue; on its surface he could see the reflection of a girl. He didn't know her name but she visited him a lot. Her dreams were just as vivid yet not as beautiful as his. Sometimes victor would slip and have a peak at them. The horrors he had seen haunt him even when he is awake, so does the girl. His parents and his doctors told him that she wasn't real, but they also told him that the pills would work.

The girl told victor of a dangerous world she had shown him miracles and curses and told him of the monster that she had been. She also told him that only a monster would have such horrid dreams. Today she didn't look like a monster her green eyes carrying such innocence it's impossible to believe any of the awful things she had done actually happened. She was smiling up at him the air ruffling her chestnut brown hair. Victor didn't know how old she really was, sometimes like today she was just a child other days she was a grown woman. When he asked her she told him she couldn't remember.

"It's been a long day victor, why don't you sit down" victor tried to remember his day but things were fuzzy. He was being moved yet again to a new mental hospital his old doctor having given up on him. He remembered leaving with his parents getting on a plane but he couldn't remember anything after that, it wasn't weird his memory was always fuzzy. He could barely tell what was real and what wasn't.

"Something is wrong" the girl said. Victor didn't feel like something was wrong but he trusted her, she was his only friend. "You should wake up!" she was frowning but she didn't sound scared or worried.

She opened her mouth to say something else but victor didn't hear it the dream was already fading away the warmth of the sun turning into a coldness that seeped to his bones. He opened his eyes to find himself in a dark room he was sleeping on the floor his hands and legs were both cuffed in heavy chains something told him that this wasn't the new hospital his mother promised would be his salvation. Something told him he was in trouble. big time!
