"Evie!" I screamed as her body flew into a tower of steel pots, which tumbled down onto her body.
They didn't make impact.
Her body was already gone.I turned back to Jafar, tears clouding my vision.
Evie's been there for me, for so long.
She was my rock.
And now she's gone."What did you do to her?" I was ripping my throat raw, and it stung horrifically, but I didn't care.
Jafar was staring at the spot where Evie's corpse should be, his face betraying no emotion, but I could see the fear in his eyes.I really hope that fear is fear of me.
Because I swear, if he has a reason to fear anything right now, it's me.
He is not leaving Cinderellasville alive.I glared at him, and his eyes snapped over to me.
That fear seemingly evaporated, but I could feel it just lurking behind his eyes.
That will soon emerge again.Anger clouded my thoughts, like the tears in my eyes, and I reached up to my neck.
Jafar raised his eyebrows in an attempt to show that he was still in control, but I watched his breathing quicken, and relished in the effect I was having on him.
He's been in plenty of bad spots with my mother, and I may not be a psychotic villain, but we are more alike than I let on.Detaching the small silver pendant from the chain around my neck, I felt it slightly burn the pads of my fingers before it grew, changing shape, becoming the long, thin, sharp rod of metal that I would use to kill the man in front of me.
All my life - even while we lived on the Isle - I was never one to kill for no reason. One to attack, even when unprovoked.
However, I would say that after what this man has done to us, we deserve the right to punish him.
A life for a life, right? But we were too slow.
As I approached the body, my fists clenched, thirsting for the blood of Jay's biggest fear, and the bane of my Blue-haired best friend. Now you may think that I'm overreacting, maybe you're thinking, "but Mal, she can't be dead!"
Well. Where is she then? The alternate dimension - the Fade?
No.
As far as I have seen, when you enter the Fade, your body remains in your origin dimension while your spirit is free to roam.
That is not the case here.
Evie's corpse is gone. That can only mean a few things.
And, as much as I hate to admit it, disintegration is one of them.
She's gone.I swiped at him continually with my knife, never giving him time to breathe.
Dodge, dodge, dodge, or get cut apart.Something that I will not hesitate to do.
The best thing you can do while in a fight is try and keep eyes on everything.
You would think that your most important priority was your opponent, but people who think like that need to remember that there's another thing that is just as deadly. The wall, that I was backing Jafar into, without his knowledge.
I saw the fear flash in his muddy irises when he felt the impact with the wall.
I flashed him a spiteful smirk before dashing forward and holding the small blade against the throbbing artery in his neck.
He straightened his neck, to try and allow himself to breathe, but all that did was give me the ability to restrict his windpipe even further. The edge nipped his neck, and I watched a drop squeeze itself from the slit.
It slowly emerged, and I reached up to catch it on the tip of my finger.
But that's not how it went.
Instead, it, along with the man I had pinned against the wall, vanished from my grip.
