You rub your nose on my face,
You pounce on my head.
You are always on the chase
For conniving ways to be fed.
From cuddling to suddenly clawing,
Assuming my fingers are prey,
Wishing for mice to be spawning,
Kitty, I had a great time today.
Although you ate my potato chip
And stank up the litter box,
Attempted climbing up my hip,
And chewed up my sock.
Even though your feet strangely reek,
And you groom in front of guests,
Affection and snacks are all you seek,
And Kitty, you're the best.
Not really an inspiration for this poem, just came out. I think cats are cute, but very.... goofy. I hope you enjoy! :-}
