"Kendra, just leave it alone" I said to My best friend.
"How can I leave it alone?" She asked.
"Uhh, by ignoring it" I said in a duh tone.
"But she getting on my last nerve," began to rant, "this bitch needa know her place before I put her there."
I laughed. "Relax, can you just try to be the bigger person this time?"
"No, Alyssa can't just be spreading rumors and talking shit then just get away with it" Kendra said in response getting heated.
She was always the one to fight. Right now we were in the noisy cafeteria. We wasn't eat but we was talkin.
"Ok why do I even bother to talk you outta this?" I asked. "You still gonna end up fighting her."
"Damn straight."
I shook my head, "Only you girl, only y—" I was interrupted by the loud laughing coming from a group of boys that was sitting at the table next to ours.
We turned our attention to them for a second before getting back to our conversation.

"Mad loud" Kendra said while rolling her eyes.
I couldn't help but laugh at her comment even though it was agreeable.
"We know we loud" we heard someone say.
We both turned to face the group to see all the boys lookin at us. I turned back around with a lil smile on my face wanting to laugh.
She was that loud?
"Ok, good for you" she responded back shrugging her shoulders.
Her clap back made the rest of the boys (and me) laugh except for the one that who was talkin to us.
"Whatever hoe" he said.
Ok, it was never that deep in the first place that he needed to call her that but ima keep my mouth shut.
"I know you didn't just call me out my name" Kendra said clapping her hands to every word.
"Sure did" he responded.
All his friends went quiet when they sensed the tension.
