Helen was about 5 miles out from Berk when she felt herself stagger and get a bit winded and dizzy from the blood loss. Gripping her bow, and grinding her teeth in frustration, she pulled herself up and began the journey towards her hellish home. For as long as she could remember, people there treated her like crap and never gave another thought about me whenever I got injured by my bullies or by those in gym class. Just the thought of those in Berk fueled Helen's hatred for them and kept her going forth through the woods, across the streets, and along the sidewalk until she came upon the sign stating Berk to be a few miles away from where she stood.

"Guess there's no turning back now," she muttered to herself before she kept moving onward to Berk.

At sundown, Berk was in sight and Helen narrowed her eyes in anger before she gripped her bow handle hard and began to look around for the nearest alleyway she could sneak around in. Finding one, she immediately headed into it just before anyone could see her. Helen immediately hid in the darkness of the alley and decided to wait until the sun was completely down before looking for Gobbers house. When she got a chance to look at the village, she could see that not much has changed in the last 5 years. Even with her gone, Berk was still just the same as she left it.

Seeing that night was upon her, Helen came out of the alley and headed towards the downtown part of Berk. She knew Gobber had placed his house away from Berk, as she had been keeping tabs on him through her contacts, but just did not know which house was the right one. Suddenly, she heard someone singing a horrible song, in a horrible tune, and immediately knew that it was Gobber. Following that sound, she heard him singing his famous song "Well I've got my axe and I've got my mace and my wife with the Ugly face. I'm a Viking through and through."

Laughing, Helen came upon a house that had been badlied repaired and knew that Alver and the others had something to do with it. 'I would not put it past them to do something like this and get away with it,' She thought to herself as she stepped up the stairs before knocking on the door twice, causing the song to immediately come to a stop.

"I keep tell you lot to stop coming! If you do not like the song, then keep your facts and your opinions to yerselves!" she heard Gobber yell before the door opens to reveal the village blacksmith himself.

Light poured from the open doorway as the man stared at the familiar woman in shock. Looking up at the man who took care of her, with her eyes, Helen smiled a bit before saying, "Hey Gobber. I'm in trouble."

"Lassy? Is that really you?" Gobber asked in a shocked tone at the sight of the young woman before him.

"Come on, I have not really been gone for that long," Helen said with a wry smile making Gobber smile in happiness before giving her a hug.

Unfortunately, this caused the pain from her wound to flare up and caused her to groan from the pain. Gobber quickly pulled back to see that there was blood coming from her side and gently helped her into his house to help patch up the wound. As Gobber carefully did so, due to so many years in the military as both soldier and healer, Helen looked away and did not even flinch when he got the bullet out. He began to clean up the blood before stitching it up. She sighed when the last stitch was in place and knotted to help close the wound while it heals.

"Wow. Lass, I remember stitching a wound on your arm up and it required for you to have a soft pillow close to you while it happened. Now, ye barely even flinch from this," Gobber said impressed at Helen's behavior.

"A lot can change in the last five years. For me, pain and I came to an understanding after what I went through to keep my problems to myself in this village. Now, we are understanding of one another of when I need medical assistance the most and when I don't so I can keep going on the move," Helen explained looking at Gobber before looking over at the window to make sure no one could see her.

"I can see that," Gobber says as he could see a few scars aligning her stomach with the new wound added to that.

Due to the wound on her side, Helen removed her black hoodie and her brown leather vest before pulling up her green shirt to show where the wound was so he could fix it. Now, she pulled her shirt down and could see that its side was covered in dry blood. "Great, there goes another shirt," she said with a  sigh as she placed her elbow on the table, that was to her right, while placing the right side of her face on her hand.

"How about I fix that shirt up lassy and let you stay here while ye heal up?" Gobber asked with a smile.

"Really? Would you agree with no questions asked about what I have been doing for the last five years and why I ran off?" Helen asked with a sly smile and a raised eyebrow.

"You really do not want to give up yer secrets do you lass?" Gobber asked.

"Only when they are life threatening and can change the reality of our lives in an instant," Helen responded in a vague tone.

"Okay then. I'll let you stay, if you help me with my job after you have healed," Gobber said with a smirk.

"I can use a job that can help to get me money to pay for my visit to the next city. I do need to get on the move," Helen said in a thoughtful tone before saying, "Okay, I will work for you in exchange for no questions asked, shelter, and you tell no one that I am here."

"Fine," Gobber said with a sigh before continuing, "You know lass, you are probably gonna cause me a bit of trouble while you're in town."

"I'll wager that I am worth it," Helen said with a wry smile making Gobber laugh.

Helen knew that she could not stay on Berk for very long, and not because of her past with it but because of who is all after her. She smiled cause, for now, Helen has finally found peace and quiet within the town who wronged her and knew that it was only a matter of time before the police or the gang members catch onto her location.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT THE RUNT HAS ESCAPED?!?!?!?!" Drago angrily yelled as he observed those, high in his ranks, kneeling before him in fright.

"We have searched the whole town from street to street. No sign of her. However, our spies have reported hearing a loud clang coming from an empty alley near the middle of the town. We checked that place to see the only thing that could make such a loud noise would be the sewer lid. I have already sent a few of my men down through it to search for her," Eret responded with his voice wavering in fear of what Drago could do to him.

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH THAT RUNT IS WORTH WITH THAT INFORMATION?!?! SO MUCH!!! GRIMMEL WANTS THAT RUNT BROUGHT TO HIM SO HE CAN MAKE A FORTUNE WITH IT!!! FIND THAT GIRL OR YOU CAN ALL JOIN YOUR FORMER COMRADES IN THE AFTERLIFE!!!!" Drago angrily shouted to his men causing them to easily fall on their hands and knees in fear.

"Dismissed," Drago said with a wave of his hand making everyone run out of the room in fear of what Drago would do to them if they refused to obey his command.

"I hope you have had your fun you little runt. Soon, I will find you and I will extract that information from you, then, I will make you pay for all the trouble you have caused," Drago growled angrily as he looked out the window of his warehouse with a glare in his eyes as he watched the town before him.

Helen looked out the window in the kitchen and knew it would be a matter of time before Drago found out that she truly left his town. Things would just become more complicated because the reason she stayed within the vicinity of his town was not because it was her only option, but because it was a personal reason. She sighed and looked down at the wooden floor before looking over at Gobber, who was happily making dinner for the two of them, and smiled. Life with Gobber would be normal for some time and Helen had yearned for it since she first left Berk. Maybe she can find a normal life in another life, but for now, she had to keep going to protect this secret. Even from herself.
