Chpater Nine

The other pack members began to file back down the stairs before anymore cracks were made or before I could re live my memory. Wyatt was hot on their heels of two twin boys, yelling at them about not doing whatever they had done ever again. They must have done something pretty big to piss Wyatt off to where he was about to pounce on the boys and beat them to the point of where they wished they were never born. I heard him yelling at the boys to get out of his sight. He walked into the living room giving us all a once over as if to dare us to ask what he had dealt with. He plopped down in his lazy boy with a heavy sigh and running his hand through his thick blonde curls.

Looking at Wyatt he looked to be innocent and sweet, but we all knew he had a dark side that was not to be screwed with. Once I had seen him take a young boy, rouge, out into the woods and he sliced his arm, blood dripping onto the soft green earth. He told the boy he had two minutes to reach the other side of the boarder before he would come and hunt him down. Wyatt didn’t even give him the two minutes he told the boy he had. The boy had been out of our sights for maybe thirty seconds before Wyatt shifted into his golden wolf and tore through the woods. You could hear the boy’s screams of pain and terror. You could hear the sickly wet cracking of the boy’s bones as he begged for mercy. That night I had tapped into Wyatt’s link and felt what he felt, saw what he saw.

His inner wolf laughed with satisfaction, growled with pleasure. His wolf was sadistic, tearing the boy to shreds. In his mind it felt like I was lost inside the darkness inside Wyatt’s wolf. He whispered to me. It was the first time I had ever heard a wolf’s voice inside my head besides my own. His voice was rough but also silky in a strange way. I felt has if he was an old friend from the past but I didn’t know were from. He called me by my wolf’s name, Nalla. He whispered to me that I had the power inside me. That we shared the same blood lust that no other wolf knew. I knew in his words were truth, because I knew I was out for blood once I had tasted it. I would have the blood of the one wolfs that I craved and soon. Wyatt’s voice brought me out of my thoughts and I noticed he was staring at me with a thoughtful look. He knew what I was thinking about but it was never a subject that was brought up.

“Those boy’s are just as bad, if not worse than Jason!” Wyatt complained, his voice getting higher at the end. With another sigh he pushed his back into his chair making the leg rests come out and rested his head on the back of his hands. His eyes found me once again and his lips curled up into a wicked grin and his eyes lit up with excitement.

“Someone’s mated.” He said in a sing song voice as he wiggled his eyebrows up and down at me. His nostrils flared as he took in a deep whiff of the room and his eyes widened

“And close to their heat!” He sang at me once again.

As if it wasn’t going to be public information soon enough to everyone here. I raised my eyebrow at his last statement and shook my head lightly.

“That’s still creepy that you can do that.” I said looking at Wyatt. He just sat there grinning like the fool he sometimes can be and wiggled his eyebrows at me once more.

“I better have a niece or nephew on the way after this heat. I can practically hear your biological clock ticking, besides that I need a new partner in crime.” Jason chimed in I snapped my head looking at Jason and gave him a hefty slap to the back of his head, seeing how it wouldn’t do any damage since I think he is lacking a brain.

“My biological clock is none of your concern or business, beside that I’m only twenty you moron!” I said looking at him like he was insane.

“That’s enough boys’. Leave Anna and her___ biological clock alone. I would much rather have her children running around the pack house than any of yours.” Alpha Rick said standing up from his seat about to leave.
