Villains? Heros? It's almost as if there is only black and white, right? But people forget there's a whole rainbow in between... I walk down the sidewalk to the apartment building, groceries in hand. I get to the building and go to apartment 325. I get in and see Rosemary playing video games and Jin on the couch watching her play. I go to the kitchen and start to put the groceries away. I hear footsteps behind me and when they stop I hear a quiet "Hey."
When I turn around I see Jin standing behind me. "Can I help?" He asks quietly. I turn back around to continue putting the groceries away. "Sure, just don't drop the eg-" As I say that I look over my shoulder to see a goopy mess of eggs and their shells covering the floor and Jin's hands. "Did he drop the eggs?" Rosemary shouted from the living room. "Yep!" I shout back. I shake my head ask I get a paper towel to clean the mess. "Thanks for cleaning up the mess, mom!" Rosemary shouts with a tone where I can hear the smirk on he face. I responded with "That's it you're grounded, missy!" We all busted out laughing.
Oh yeah! Let me say who I am. I'm Seraphina and these two are my best friends Jin and Rosemary. They've known me since 8th grade. Jin was so quiet back then! Well, he still is now but Rosemary, she's the complete opposite. She's loud all the time and 95% of her life has been spent on video games probably and I'm like the mom of the group. Oh, I forgot to mention... I'm a vigilante called Foxine but they don't know that. The reason I'm a vigilante instead of a hero is because they all think I killed Him. Let's move on...
Later on around 10, I'm changing into my usual vigilante outfit but I accidentally take a glance at the mirror and cringed as I see the scars all over my back. I turn back around and finish getting dressed I then begin to transform; Long black claw-like nails, my long straight hair turned from a dark chocolate brown to a vibrant orange and purple wavy ocean, my face changed from rounded slightly-tanned with dark freckles and dimples to a pale face with ruby red lips and upside-down tear shaped face. My dark green eyes changed to a bright icy blue. Fox ears and tail then appeared on me the same color as my hair and I was good to go.
I went on the alleyways looking for those doing downright horrible things. I found a few people beating up someone. Before I had a chance to claw them, I heard something..... "You let my daughter get killed!" "I hate you!" I froze for a second. 'His daughter'.... He... He..... I'M NOT HIS DAUGHTER! I blacked out....
When I woke back up the guys that were beating him up were on the ground barely breathing. I was breathing heavily. I looked at my claws to see them dusted with blood. Then I saw who they were beating up...... It was a hero called Kuroko.... He was loved by so many..... Yet here he was on the ground bruises covering him, tears covering his cheeks. "Why... why would you save me? I'm a horrible person" He asked with a shaky voice. I walked up to him so I could try to calm him down but as I got closer I could smell the alcohol on his breath. "Because.... I can't let one of the good guys get hurt, now can I?" I said calmly with a mother like tone that I use for Jin and Rosemary sometimes when they act up.
"But you killed him.... You killed a hero..... Acwulf..... His true name was John Griffith... He was a good man!" He said with tears still dripping down his face. I felt myself get angry. "Those two are not the same people Acwulf was a hero but John Griffith he.... He was a monster!" I shouted. "How?" He asked with a whimper "He abused and tormented the one thought to be closest to him." I then went back home leaving him frozen in shock as Igets home rosemary and Jin calls me over to the living room so I quickly transform back.
"Friend or Foe? That is the question we ask today as of we had a report of the vigilante known as Foxine. She saved the hero Kuroko from a group of villains and Kuroko reported that she had also told him the apparently John Griffeth also known as Acwulf "tormented and abused the one thought to be closest to him". We shall be questioning to see if this is true. Now on to the we-" Rosemary turned off the tv and Jin started to speak.
