Today at school, our teacher didn't want to talk about the tragedy who happened in the streets of West Adams, and i find her reasons pathetic. Her main excuse is our age. We are 11 years old, not 5 (except for Francesca i truly think she is mentally 5) but anyways. Someone educated enough to teach kids should use her knowledge to warn us about the dangers of life, but i guess it's my unpopular opinion for now.

After school, Fran and Emmanuel came to house to play video games. I don't like to play, i think it's a waste of precious time. I have some stuff many kids don't have in my district: a PlayStation and a Nintendo 64. Those costs more than a custody says my mom. My mom is rarely home. She works a lot to pay the bills. As you can see, my district is very poor but my house is good looking compared to the others. She works hard to make me live a decent life in the worst ghetto of California but i don't know if she really loves me. After few gunshots and bombs, Fran lost to the game against Emmanuel. But this time, she didn't complain.

-I'm wondering how it feels to hold a gun, says Francesca fixing her avatar dying in the Tv.

Nobody answered. I don't think i will ever hold a gun in my life. Why would i? Killing humans is monstrous. I'm a human and i appreciate life and i want to live. I'm wondering how Fran is feeling every time she sees her dad, knowing he kills almost everyday someone maybe innocent. This is why she always come to my house, she is scared of her own dad and its pretty understandable at this point.

- I don't know, says Emmanuel looking at Fran. I hope nobody forces us to be in a gang.

- Me too, says Fran happy too see some hope in Emmanuel's eyes.

I didn't say anything because we never know what the future is planning for us. Of course i don't want to be in a gang, but what if you get in some terrible situation and being in a gang is helping you to protect your family? It's the question i always ask to myself.

Being a member of a gang is like eating the last cookie. You don't really care at first, you just eat it. After few moments, you regret because you won't eat a new cookie until days. Being a gang member is the same but the new cookie is your liberty, and i don't think you will get it back only in a day.

I'm just saying though, maybe i should stop reading books about mafias and gangs. If only teachers could talk about it in class it would be very nice!!!!!

-End Chap 2-

Hey hey! Y'all are lucky, i finished this chapter sooner than i thought 😍 i have some stuff to specify!

Pedro have a PS and a Nintendo 64, i mentioned old consoles because the story is happening when the bloods and crips were acting up so that means around the 1980~ so yeah!

About Pedro's mom, if you read the TPN manga, you should know the real identity of his mom (the real Ray)! If you know her identity you can imagine you can think of her as Pedro's mom in the story, but her job will be different. If you don't know her identity, you are free to imagine her on your mind ^^

And little small detail! My writing is so bad but i hope y'all got the idea that Pedro is narrating the story in a kind of diary! Yup a diary lmao
