chapter three

Strangers
Of course you didn't forgive him. He broke your perfectly functional leg. You've been sitting in the couch all they glaring at him, hoping you'll break his neck by looking at him."what?" He asked his eyes still fixed on the tv in front of the both of you.
"wHat?" You mocked childishly, rolling your eyes. He turned around and gave you a sad smile.
"You're still mad aren't you?" Jungkook stated, of course he knew you wouldn't forgive him that easily. You just wanted him to leave but he felt so guilty he just wanted to make it up to you.
"I promise I'll make it up to you, Princess" You pouted waving your hands at his face.
"Make it up to me and leave, after all we're just strangers"
Those words hit Jungkook's chest like a bullet. Was he really just a stranger to you. Maybe you didn't remember him after all, maybe he wasn't that important for you to remember him. After all it's been 8 years.
He sighed getting up from the couch turning off the tv.
"Right, I'm sorry"
Those were his last words before leaving.
...
"I'm leaving" You announced to your co-worker, Lisa.
You worked at a small convenience store open 24 hours, your shift was in the morning from 7:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. After your shift ended your coworker Lisa would take over, the job was easy and it paid you enough to maintain yourself in your small apartment.
"Okay, have a nice day Y/n!" She bowed at you as you smiled at her.
She was such a nice person, if you had an emergency she always took over your shift, telling you that it was not a problem. Of course you'll do the same for her but she never asked you. Sometimes you wanted to pay her back but you never got the chance to so an idea popped into your head.
"Lisa" you spoke while a smile spread across your face.
She hummed in response as she organized the candy shelf. Putting some here and there.
"How about we go out tonight, me and my friend Soojung wouldn't mind?" You explained as her eyes got wider at what you just said.
Soojung was your best friend and also Taehyung's girlfriend, that's how you met because of Tae, he always said you guys would be good friends and after all it was true you guys became really close. She was the only girlfriend you could count on.
Since it was Friday you guys always went out to a restaurant had some drinks and had fun. And you guessed that it wouldn't be a bad idea to get to know the blonde haired girl that was always your life saver, Lisa. Maybe you guys we'll become friends too.
"Oh- umm well...Sure! Why not?" She chuckled softly, while nodding.
"I'll pick you up!"
...
"So you like him...?" Soojung asked as you guys walked around the store.
She invited you to get ready at her house and go shopping before going out since your wardrobe was looking kind of boring.
"No! Of course not! I have Jackson" you exclaimed.
How could you like Jungkook if you had a boyfriend. You were explaining what happened at the bar and your house and how jungkook was actually one of his boyfriend's best friends.
"Well Jackson isn't really paying much attention to you, maybe you should think about someone else Y/n." She explained, checking some of the dresses that were in the store.
And she was right you should break up with him. He hasn't been acting like he loves you, always ditching you whenever you want to go out. Always making excuses of why he couldn't make it, you thought that maybe just maybe he was cheating on you. But you were so blinded by what you thought was love that you didn't let yourself even think about such thing.
"I guess, anyways do you think I should try this one?" You changed the subject as you holded up a one piece black and white jumper dress.
"Oh that's cute, I think you should. It'll look good on you" She cheered as she pulled you in one of the changing rooms.
She had picked a yellow sweater with a skirt. Soojung would definitely look good in it.
You pulled the jumper over your head and looked at yourself in the mirror. A 'damn I look good' escaped your mouth as you twirled in it. You opened the small curtain that was protecting you from anyone seeing you naked.
"Damn gurl you look nice!" Soojung said as she made you twirl for her.
You chuckled as you checked out her outfit as well.
"We look nice" you corrected as you smiled.
"We're definitely wearing this for tonight"
...
Soojung parked at the entrance of the unfamiliar house the house was huge, you shouldn't be calling it a house it was a freaking mansion. You hoped out of the car and you knocked softly on the door waiting for Lisa to open. Soon enough someone opened the door you figured it was Lisa's mom seeing the similarity of traits.
"Hello, you must be Lisa's friend" she smiled dearly as you bowed to her.
She was wearing an expensive looking pink robe and holy shit she was wearing gucci sandals. The images of the familiar vine started popping into your head 'those, those are my sandals' you controlled the chuckled that almost slipped from your lips.
"Yes that's me" you replied as formally as possible.
She fixed a white strand of her short her as she nodded.
"Lalisa come here your friend is waiting for you!" She yelled softly as she turned her head back to you giving you an apologetic smile.
"Sorry she's always late" she explained, you replied with an 'it's okay' when Lisa's slim body popped out of the door. She was wearing a white loose dress her hair into a bun a pair of silver earring adorned her ears. She looked like an angel.
"Y/n! I guess you met my mom" Lisa chuckled nervously.
"Mom! Have you seen my pho-" a familiar figure stepped next to Lisa's mom.
"Jungkook?"
