Moving Love

Chapter 1

Do you like moving? Well I didn't care about it to much when I was young but now that I'm older and in high school, it's become annoying. Especially this time, because I have made some amazing friends and am apart of a great after school program.

My name is Jess btw, I'm 17 and I have long dyed red hair, and I'm Asian. I have two wonderful parents but like any parents they really can kill me sometimes. They really have a crazy way of looking at things. The one thing I dislike about my parents point of view is that they like to move...only because they get bored of looking at the same people, looking at the same town, and just being in one place for to long. This really gets on my nerves, since iI've been dealing with this all my life.

My parents did do one great thing tho, and it was when they decided to move here. Milxton a amazing but small town in the middle of almost no where but some where at the same time.

I actually don't mind it to much either. The people are so nice and really know how to open their arms up to new people. So it was no hard task to find friends within a week or two.

Right now its our winter break, me and my friends got together for a Christmas party and now preparing for a New Years party. I'm out buying supplies right now, for our great celebration. My Walmart cart has never been so packed with food and soda.

What surprised me more is who I saw working as the cashier, the amazing looking and oh so wonderful personality Chris Nyguen. Chris is a tall well toned body, and a real catch for me because he also happens to be Asian.

I cant believe it...of course I ran with excitement to the line he was working at. It was a pretty long line I would have to say, which means that he must drag in a lot of customers.

He doesn't speak much tho, just a friendly hello and have a nice day.

Knowing we go to the same school but being in different social groups, he might just know my name.

As I approached closer and closer to the end of the check out I think I was becoming nervous. So I ended up not saying anything, but he did look at me weird.

" Do I know you? " Chris asked

" We go to the same school..." I don't ever think I've ever spoken so shyly in y life before.

" Ah, of course. Having a party I see"

" Yep! Just me and my friends, not lot of people of course you know just a small group nothing crazy or to loud just a small...group"

Okay I think I just accomplished my task of embarrassment today.

" Ha-ha, well okay your total 36.54. Cash or credit? "

" ...cash "

" Thank you, have fun at your small party "

I don't ever think I've seen him laugh before, that sure was cute. Well seems like a lucky day, everything that I had to do after that went smoothly and turned out to be a nice day. I now had a story to tell later on, and I know my friends will enjoy this.

*bing*bing*

Text from Kayla: Hey it you have all the food go ahead and head over to Tyra's and start to help get everything read.

I'm so excited for this party, being able to be with my friends going into the new year. All of us together just seems like a big happy family. There's Ty, Alyssa, Kayla, Tyra, Maria, and Nina. A happy group of 6.

The party's been going on now for about an hour now and its so much fun, but i spent like 35 dollars on food and we are already on the edge of being out. So I got sent out to buy more and its already late I hate driving at night.

I reach Walmart and I can't believe it but Chris is still working. I get to seem him twice in one day of course not passing up this offer. I hurry to finish getting more snacks, just to make sure I don't miss him because he could be getting off soon.

As soon as I finished i ran up to the front of the building and thank god hes still there and better off no ones in his line so i hurry up and get in it, casually of course.

" Good evening...again? " Chris said with a smile.

" Yep seems like I didn't get enough food "

" Hmm a group of girls who know how to eat, that's cute "

WHAT!! Cute, this is the best New Years ever being called cute by such a hot guy, News Years resolution please I don't think I will need one this year.

" Yea, your working pretty late for a holiday? "

" ...yea it seems so "

Did just say something I shouldn't have...

" Well no matter the reason for it, you should always be trying to enjoy the moments "

"True..your total is 24.86, Cash? "

" Yep "

As I was walking out the door I realized no one should spend a holiday like this, so ran back inside and did something crazy. I grabbed one of the party poppers and ran up to him.

" HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

I think I did surprised him for sure, hopefully for the good.

"...uh its not the right time yet "

" I know, but I figured it's not fair that people get to party while your here stuck working for whatever crazy reason "

He smiled " You know your a pretty amazing "

My face light up red, I wasn't expecting him to say something like that.

" Thank you " I was so embarrassed, as I started to walk away he had grabbed my wrist and spun me back around.

" Uh...actually do you wanna hang out tomorrow? "

Really?!? Chris the hottest and coolest person at our school wants to hang out with me, okay this has to be a joke.

" yea sure I would love to hang out with you " saying with a really red face now.

" okay awesome, than want to meet at the Starbucks by the bookstore at 10? "

" For sure see you than "

Well that just happened...Oh gosh look at the time, I looked at my phone I have mis-calls from everyone. I got in my car and hurried back to Tyra's house.
