The Beginning of the End

"Arsene!" Shouted a black haired boy.

"Izanagi!"

"We can't hold  Erebus much longer, partner."

"We have to reseal it!"

"Get out, I'll handle this!" Shouted a dark blue haired boy.
"No we came here for you."
He kicked  the door that leads to the Velvet Room sucking them all in except him.
"Go! Now!"
"I'll hold them off too."
"Minato! Elizabeth!"

*door closes.*

"We made it out alive, somehow."

"Wait, where is the other two."
I  looking up ashamed, Yu looked away, and Minako started crying.

"No no no n- NO!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------30 HOURS BEFORE------------

"I'm back." I said
"Ah, welcome back." Sojiro welcomed me with a smile.
"Your friend is up stairs with the cat."
"Thanks, you're haven't opened shop?"
"No not yet." Sojiro said while looking at the back counter.
"I shouldn't have come so early then."
"Nah, its o-" Sojiro was cut off from a screaming Ryuji.
"Ren-Ren! Come up stairs." Ryuji shouted excitedly.
"Alright. Just wait. I'm so sorry." I apologized to Sojiro bowing my head.
"Its okay. Go up there, their waiting for you."

I went up the stairs,to find Morgana,sleeping on my bed and Ryuji eating a popsicle.
"Isn't it hot today." Ryuji said while eating.
"Yeah, and don't eat while talking." I said.
"Where's the others? Are their late." I asked looking around the room.
"Yep... The others... Are ... Late." Morgana said before lying on the bed asleep.
"Haru had to do something, Yusuke is busy with a painting, Futaba is still sleeping and the others are on their way." Ryuji said.
"Thanks. Its been awhile since we had a get together."
"Yeah, ever since we disbanded the we've busier than always. Except me of course."
"Yeah.."
Its been a year since the Phantom Thieves disbanded. After all that happened we went back to our daily peaceful lives, while I went back to my hometown. I came back here, working with Sojiro for awhile, so I made a get together here with the others.
"But man, a year has passed, huh? Its January 2017 too." Ryuji said waking up Morgana.
"Heheh. Its okay, its still the new years. We have a lot of time ahead of us." Morgana said fully awake.
Right, its still January. It feels like it didn't passed at all. All that happened.
Kaneshiro, Madarame, Shido and that god Yaldaboath. But deep in my heart, I still feel danger, a type of malice coming from inside. Mementos is destroyed but I can't shake this feeling off, its like the velvet room is still there, my powers are still with me. After I sat my bag on the floor, I blacked out. Not knowing why, I woke up in a blue mysterious room where a big gate is found and a small desk is seen in front of it. The velvet room, I asked myself, confused on what is going on. I checked my surroundings to see a gray haired man by my left.
He, just like me is also confused.
"Welcome to the Velvet Room." A familiar long nosed person greeted us, Igor, with six assistants in blue uniforms, two looking familiar
"You must be confused on what is going on. Fear not, fate has brought you two here." Said Igor.
"Igor?" Both of us said in unison then looked at each other.
"How do you know Igor?" I asked the grey haired man.
"I should be asking the same thing." He said.
"Ah. Forgive me for not introducing you two to each other."
"This is Yu Narukami, my guest that holds the power of the wildcard, and his guides, Marie and Margaret ."
"Please to meet you. And you are..?" Yu said asking my name in the process.
"And this is Ren Amamiya, another guest that holds the power of the wildcards, and his guide Justine and Caroline." Igor said while fusing the two.
"Or also known as Lavensa if combined." She bowed to Yu, him bowed to her back.
"Nice to meet you, Narukami-kun."
"Yu."
"Hmm?"
"Call me Yu."
"Alright then, call me Ren."
"Looks like you both have put mutual trust in each other." Margaret said.
"Well mutual trust is important." Lavenza said.
"Let's see what they got in the battlefield." Marie said with a grin.
"I would also like to see." A girl in blue said.
"Silence." Everybody shutting their mouth.
"This here are Elizabeth and Theodore. Their are the previous guests assistants." Igor said at my questioned faced.
"Two?" Yu said.
"Hmm? Oh yes two guests."
"Where are the others? You said they were two others but I don't see them anywhere." I asked making a serious expression towards Igor.
"Yes this is what I wanted to discuss about." Igor snapped his finger opening the large door.
"This."
We saw a statue of a person, to my guess it was the other wildcard. Shocked, we looked down to see a huge grim figure.
"That is Erebus." Elizabeth said.
"The manifestation of humanity calling towards Nyx."
I saw hatred, depression, the will to live given up to this two headed  chaotic creature.
"What's that?" Yu pointed towards the door and the statue.
"That is the other wildcard, Minato Arisato, and that is the door that is sealed by my guest from Nxy."
"What does it open to?" I asked shivering at the scene of the wildcard and Erebus.
"Humanity." Igor continued.
"Wait what do you mean hum-" Yu cut off from Igor.
"The door that bounds between Nxy and Humanity. My previous guest has sacrificed himself to seal it preventing the fall, in the process, stuck here for years."
The seal between Nxy and humanity. Why were we here. I thought.
"What is this got to do with us." I said.
"The seal, it has... Broken." Igor said.
"The seal, what!?" Unbelieved I tried asking myself if this  was a dream. I said 'face reality'.
"Due to some circumstances, the seal has weaken and poured some of Nxy's power to Erebus. Making it much more dangerous than ever." Igor continued.
"Once a year, I assigned myself to trying to  destroy Erebus, once he have completed his full form but now it is difficult than ever."
"So basically what you saying is, that you can't 'try' destroying  it anymore." Yu said with worried expression on his face.
"Yes." Elizabeth said while looking down.
"We can't achieve the arcana " The World" only the wildcards can use that arcana." Margaret said.
"So that why we have called you here." Theodore said.
"What are supposed to do?" Both of us said.
"Destroy Erebus completely and save Minato Arisato." Igor said.
"If it fails?" I asked terrified at my own question.
