"You two haven't seen each other in practically 3 years and that's all you said to each other?" Howl asked trying not to sound rude, "I thought we would be here longer than this just to let you catch up."
Sophie frowned. She did want to spend more time with her sister but Lettie was usually very busy.
"She's busy." She told him. He could tell she wanted to talk bids with Lettie but believed she was busy.
Sophie sighed, "I never got to ask her how our Mum was doing."
Howl noticed how disappointed she looked, "Sophie, if you want to stay longer and talk more with your sister, you can." He smiled at her hoping she would stop frowning. Her sadness was making him sad.
"Really?" Sophie looked up at him, "Oh, thank you, Howl!" She hugged him. "...but what are you going to do while I'm here with her?" She asked pulling away slightly to look at him.
Howl thought for a second before answering, "I'll find something to do."
