"So that's her game plan." I tell CL and Bom the following day as we watch Bora talk with some girls at school that looked like Gyuri's groupies. The whole day she'd been telling other girls about the shitty things Gyuri says about them every time they have their backs turned.
"Bora's really one sleek bitch." CL muttered.
And it worked. The following week we noticed that Gyuri is often alone and no student even cared to hang out with her. All of a sudden the students that admire her looks at her now with disgust and hatred in their eyes. She's always with Jaejoong hanging out with his male buddies and I can see her looking terribly out of place. Poor Gyuri, but I guess she kind of deserve it.
The four of us are always together now and we usually hang out at other places after school like the mall or a coffee shop. There's even one time when Bora invited us to her place and we just chatted endlessly like there's no tomorrow. Bom's right, somehow Bora's nice. But CL's not comfortable with her yet.
"I still don't trust Bora." CL whispered to me one time looking grumpy. "She still looks suspicious to me."
"You're just jealous, CL." I joked.
"The hell I am!" She answered.
"Bom loves you don't worry. I guess they just missed each other. Let them be, for old time's sake." I smiled at her. CL mumbled words I didn't understand and I laughed. "Stop sulking, CL." I told her.
"I'm not sulking!" She protested.
"Hey guys!" Bom called our attention, we're sitting on the bleachers at the soccer field waiting for last period. "A masquerade ball will be held here at school three weeks from now. It's like an acquaintance party for the freshmen and transferee students to establish camaraderie." She giggled.
"So?" CL asked her with a raised eyebrow.
"Well we really have to think about what we'll wear for that event silly!" Bom told her enthusiastically.
"I know a store where they sell nice dresses. We could check them out." Bora chimed in smiling.
"Are you that excited? It's not until three weeks from now. Jeez." CL rolled her eyes.
"I know. Duh. We just don't want other girls to pick the best dresses there is before us!" Bom exclaimed.
"I don't give a single shit to what I'm supposed to wear!" CL growled. Actually I agree with her on that part. I don't give a shit as well.
"But, Chaerin..!" Bom gave her the "puppy face".
"Stop it, Bom!" CL warned but Bom continued on making cute little faces to her friend. Eventually, CL gave in.
"Fine!" CL rolled her eyes and shook her head dismally. "Sheesh."
"Great!" Bom clasped her hands. "Let's start looking for a dress for the ball after school!"
"Already?!" CL and I shouted in chorus.
"Of course! Sooner is better than later!" Bom winked at us.
"Ugh! Girl stuff.." I muttered.
"Yeah right." CL agreed. Bom and Bora just giggled.
"How about let's try being Disney princesses this time huh?" Bom suggested.
"Oh for heaven's sake!" CL widened her eyes.
"No!" I protested. There's no way I would wear something like that. Never in my life. Hell no.
"Let's just stick to cocktail dresses, Bom." Bora told her smilingly.
"I was just kidding." Bom gave out a playful smile.
"Park Bom, you're crazy!" CL shouted at her. Bom and Bora laughed in chorus.
I watched my friends as they laugh and make fun of each other. I feel so relieved now that my life here in Brentville High is finally at peace. With these good friends and Gyuri without the scene, it's so surreal.
As soon as school ended the four of us meet up again to go at the mall. We saw Gyuri looking at us as we walked out of school and we just ignored her. But somehow I pity her because I saw a glint of sadness in her eyes as she looked away. She deserved what happened to her but I'm not as evil as Gyuri to not care about how she feels. I'm just glad she finally stopped messing with us now. I hope it'll continue until the rest of the year.
(So Gyuri's now being left out eh? He he. I still have a few chapters to update and it really gets interesting with all the revelations and stuff.. The story will end soon and I hope you guys would stick with me until the end. Thanks again and wait for the next update!)
