Before Davina reunited with everyone, she called Nandi, who was more experienced in these kinds of troubles and Nandi was able to identify the plant and confirm it could help.

Now, that everyone was in the Quarter, Davina told them about the dream she had which was just of a plant, then she gave them the drawing she made and as everyone gave each other the paper to see the drawing, Nandi told them what plant is it.

"This plant is called concur benedictus, also known as blesses thistle. This plant is in the family Astereraceae, native to the Mediterranean region, from Portugal north to southern France and east to Iran."

"Thank you, Wikipedia Lady. Can you pass to the part where you tell us what this plant is gonna do?" Damon asked and Katherine smirked, finding amusing the nickname Damon gave to Nandi.

"It's believed that even if this plant isn't much noticeable, it is very powerful. It has many magical proprieties: purification, protection, wards of negativity and much more."

"So we get the plant, throw to this creature and everything ends?" Katherine asked.

"No. When Davina told me about her vision, I quickly remember about something I had read in one of my books, which was... you could say a recipe... in how to destroy darkness. If it works, we not only need this plant but we also need holly water and silver. In that way we, the witches, put everything together, make a spell, to put those 3 ingredients all together and make a sword, which then will defeat the shadow."

"That's all very interesting. Just a quick question... How do we kill this creature if it never comes to see us and simply uses our unconscious to play with our minds?" Kol asked.

"This creature might be a shadow but quickly will take over someone's body to be able to do even more damage."

"So until then we just wait around? No! We need to do something now. People are counting on us." Caroline said, making Klaus smirk for a split of a second, loving how Caroline was already acting like the Queen she is.

"I also have a question. If we kill this creature when it's in someone's body... does that mean, this person also dies?" Elena asked.

"What does it matter? What matters is we kill this thing so I can have my kingdom back in peace." Klaus said, earning him a look from Caroline.

"This person is innocent. We can't just kill someone who is innocent and probably very vulnerable just so will be possessed by the shadow." Elena said.

"Elena is right. By killing innocent people we will only show people they were right by getting against us when all this began." Elijah said.

"No need to worry. These 3 ingredients that will make the sword are made to kill the void and protect the person who's being possessed, meaning the shadow will die but the person will come back alright and with no bruises." Nandi said.

"Alright. Thank you so much for your help and we hope we can count on your generosity to help us create this sword and take down this creature." Elijah said.

"Of course. This isn't just about you. It's about everyone. For years people tried to get rid of this creature that only brings pain and destruction, it's time to finally put an end to all the torment this thing has given people for centuries."

"Nandi, is there a chance you can make not only a sword but also bullets with these ingredients?" Caroline asked.

"No. This recipe is meant for a sword only. I'm sorry." Nandi said.

"Wait. But you said silver is also a weakness." Kol said.

"Yes, but alone will only make it weaker and could hurt the person because doesn't have the plant to protect the person."
