Lucy POV

I still can't believe that Racer and Cobra tried to leave. I mean- I know they don't like me but, what Racer said last night made me hurl.

Also, the fact that Cobra thinks that it is still an option to hurt me for entertainment! If we ever fought, he'd probably win.

"They're not that bad." I heard a voice call from the doorway to my room.

I glanced up to see Midnight. "Huh?" I scoffed out of my quivering lip. If I got in a fight with him he'd definitely win.

Midnight sighed, "Racer is fine but, Cobra is a little prickly.... Believe me it took me years to get used to them. Just don't get on either of their nerves and you can keep your life."

I frowned, "Do you think I am scared? Hah!"

Midnight shook his head, "Sometimes, I'm scared of them- it doesn't matter if you are or not. Be careful."

Be careful.

Those words made me shiver.
