"Carley we're almost there." My dad shakes me awake.
I watched houses and trees pass us by before we finally reached his house. I help mum and dad carry our stuff to the door and wait for someone to answer.
Today's my brothers birthday and it's the first time I've been to him shared house. I barely get to see him because he is always filming and traveling with his house mates and other sidemen members, so this weekend I'm making the most of my time here.
"MUM! DAD! CARLEY!" Simon shouted as the door flung open. He engulfed us all in hugs then took Mum's bag from her and lead us through the house.
Once I placed all my belongings in the room that I'll be staying, Simon gave me a house tour. We walked from room to room and most I recognized from his videos and then we reached the room I was most excited to enter.
Simon knocked first and waited for his voice to let us know we can enter. My heart started beating so fast, I thought I was going to pass out.
"Josh you remember my sister Carley right?" Simon asked Josh as he typed away on his computer. He swiveled around and smiled at me.
"I do indeed. Hi, how are you?" He says with a gorgeous smile on his face. Gee did the temperature just rise? I feel like I'm in the desert.
"Hey, hi, I'm good thank you. How are you?" I breathe slowly and try to keep cool, which by the way is almost impossible.
"Carley, Simon where are you?" Mum calls from some where in the house. I turn in her direction and walk quickly towards her. The boys laugh too eachother and Simon follows shortly after.
--Party Time--
I stand in Simon's bathroom doing light makeup getting ready for his party.
I managed to stay clear of Josh, well it wasn't hard he was editing the whole time but still. Tonight is about Simon and not about
"Simon can I borrow your.. oh your not Simon." Josh says as he walks in the room with me. He looks over my dress and frame then looks away quickly when he notices that I noticed.
"Did you need something?" I asked smiling at my lap. My cheeks burning up and my palms alittle sweaty.
"You offering?" He says with a smirk on his face. I snap my eyes up to his and he laughs at me. His laugh is music to my ears. It makes my heart beat faster and my heart fill with some kind of feeling.
"I'm kidding beautiful, where is your lanky brother at?" He smiles at me and glances around the room. I shrug my shoulders unable to speak. He just called me beautiful? No way. Maybe I want to hear it so bad that I imagined it.
"Well if he shows up tell him that I'm looking for him alright?" I nod and go back to doing my makeup but he doesn't walk away.
