You started to make your break down the hallway, never turning around to see if someone, Warren, was following you.

All that mattered in this moment was that you ran and got somewhere safe. Somewhere you wouldn't have to talk to anyone or be stared at. A place that was quiet and relaxing.

"The forest." You thought to yourself.

Whenever something would go wrong you always went to the forest and sat on the fallen log on the edge of the small pond.

You would watch the calm ripples of water from swimming fish and ducks and you would watch the doe and her faun drink water and play around together. You would find happiness in all the little things.

The problem was you needed to get there now and where you wanted to go was by your old house, on the opposite side of the forest. It was deep enough in that no one would see you but your only way of getting there now was by flight.

That's when you remembered that your telekinesis gives you the ability to become unseen (invincible).

So there you were at the edge of the forest, two fingers pressed against your temple and your eyes closed trying to focus. When you finally figured out it was working you spread your large, dark wings and started to soar above the countless shades of green.

In a matter of minutes you were sat at the pond on that same log, watching all the calmness of nature around you.

Not long after, a small bird had flown and sat beside you and you offered your finger as a more comfortable perch. It accepted and fluffed its pretty little wings to fly up to your hand.

You slowly started to pet the bird making sure not to scare it, then brought it closer to your face.

"You should go little birdie. Go fly!" You whispered and it took flight causing you to sit back a little and smile.

"You still come here?" You here a familiar voice beside you.

"I do, Peter. Why wouldn't I?" You pat the spot on the log next to you for him to sit.

"We have to go, Y/N. Professor needs us."

"I don't want to go back there. Not after that."

"After what?"

"After I started balling my eyes out for no reason in front of the guy I like... while I was talking to him."

"That's what's scaring you?"

"I never said it was scaring me, Quickie,"

"You come here when something bad happens that makes you scared."

"Go away." You look Peter in the eyes, tears threatening to spill from your own once again.

"You know what. Professor doesn't need us but, Warren needs you. Like, needs you."

"What happened?" You facial expression changes to worry.

"Nothing but he wants to talk about something important."
