Entry #1963 (August 7, 2018)

It's been about 5 and a half years since I moved here. However, I still get annoyed when new neighbors show up. Like yesterday when this girl moved in two apartments to my right. To be descriptive she had blonde hair, hazel eyes, and she also had freckles. Anyways, today was a dull day as an investigative reporter. I am working on a story about the missing people incident going around here. It started last July with one missing person, which was normal considering this is a big city and having someone disappear isn't out of the ordinary. Then the next month, 5 more went missing, and then 9 more the month after, then it increased to 22 more missing people. So then people were starting to get concerned about these missing people reports. The police started a city-wide campaign to search and locate these missing people. However, nobody has been found just yet, and now after about a year, there are about 120 missing people now. I'm investigating what's going on here and trying to post it on my new article in the Daily Trombone, the newspaper company I work for. However, this story has caused me some trouble with the police and I've been interrogated and arrested for what I've done. This story usually makes my days full of adrenaline and curiosity, but today I went out on a lead only to find a dead end. Anyways, I have to get to the docks tomorrow to check on a lead I have, so I might as well call it day.  [Entry ended]
