Chapter 16-When You Look Me in the Eyes

Demi's POV

I woke up in the morning because of my phone buzzing on my nightstand.I grabbed it and watched at the caller ID and saw Joe calling me.I hit the button and answered it.

(Phone convo)

Joe:Hello beautiful!

Me:Hi handsome(in a sleepy tone)

Joe:Your still sleeping when I called you right?

Me:Yeah!heavy sleeper right

Joe:Hey!I used to be the heavy sleeper!

Me:Hahahaha but now its me

Joe:Wow you changed

Me:Nope,if I changed I'll not love you I just slept late at last night because of you texting me

Joe:Now its my fault of you sleeping late at night

Me:Yeah!Jerk

Joe:I'm not a jerk..I'm just stupid!

Me:Okay your stupid not a jerk

Joe:But if you'd say yes to go on a date with me,that would be awsome!

Me:I take that back you're a jerk!

Joe:Ha nice one,Lovato!

Me:Yeah cause I'm great Jonas!!

Joe:Okay..I'll go now I'm gonna go there later after lunch I'm gonna help Mom now on chores,Bye Dems!!

Me:Okay!!Bye Joey!

I got up and hop in the shower after I changed my clothes I take a last glance at the mirror and touch the friendship necklace that Joe gave me that I always wear and remembered that were still bestfriends when he gave me this now were in a relationship.When I got out of the shower I saw the teddy bear on my bed that Joe gave me and I remembered what I said.

And I'am the lucky girl.I'm sooooo lucky to have Joe."Demi!"my Mom called me."Coming"I head downstairs."Were going,are you okay to be alone here again."my Mom asked.It's no big deal that I'm gonna be alone as long as my boyfriend is gonna be here.;)"I'm fine Mom,besides Joe is gonna be here later."I answered."Wow I could see my daughter is really inlove."my Dad said that made me smile."Yeah..thanks Dad." "Okay we gotta go."I watched as our car pulled out the driveway.As I closed the door I went to the kitchen and grabbed something to eat.I sit down at the couch and started eating as I flip some channels on the tv.

After an hour I got a text from Joe saying"Can I come?"and of course I said yes.After I got the text I heard the doorbell rang.His here?.How ironic.

"Hey!"we hugged."You brought your guitar?"I asked him."Yeah I want you to hear me new song."he told me."Really?!." "Yeah!"

We head upstairs to my room and he started to sing me the song.He strum some chords and started singing.

"If the heart is always searching,can you ever find a home?I've been looking for that someone,I'll never make it on my own."he looked at me.I blushed.

"Dreams can't take thee place of loving you.Theres gotta be a million reason why its true"then he hit the chorus.

"When you look me in the eyes and tell me that you love me.Everythings alright,when you're right here by my side.When you look me in the eyes,I catch a glimpse of heaven,I find my paradise"we looked at each other and he said."When you look me in the eyes."

"Wow!"I said as he widen his eyes looking at me."Really!"his shocked.Its like it was the first time I liked all of his songs."I liked it and I don't lie"I admit.I gave her a peck on the lips."Its about you"he said as we pulled away."Thanks...I love you."I said."I love you too!"he said back.I hope our relationship last forever.
