Chapter 33-The Prom

 

Today is 'Prom Day'.Guess who I'm with.Oh!Come on,you know it!..Joe!.He ask me last week ago.I have three dresses to choose.Audrey and I bought it last weekend.

"Come on!I'll help you pick your dress"she said.She also brought her stuffs here in the house so that after we finished everything we could go.The prom starts 7:30.But we still have one hour to prepare."How 'bout this red one"she said showing me a fitted dress that just barely covered my butt.

"No!"

"This!"she said showing me another slutty dress.

"I'll just go to that purple one."I said pointing to a flowy backless dress that reaches above my my knee.

"Try it!"she said and pushes me to my bathroom.When I got out....

"Wow...Perfect"she exclaimed."Look at yourself"I then turned to my mirror.'Wow' I said to myself.I decide that this is the final dress I'll wear and pair it with white stiletto.

"You know the last thing you need!"I looked at her.

"What?"

"A natural make up"

"I'll not look like a clown,right?"I assure her.Audrey have this make up addiction sometimes.

"Oh,come on!"she dragged me to my dresser and started putting some cream and foundation.I heard my phone ring.Audrey reach it and see who is it.

"Its your boyfie!"she gave it to me.I blush.

"What he said?"she asked.

"We better keep going.."We then move fast and after we got out.

"Okay becareful kids okay"Mom amd Denise told us as we got in the car.Yes!Denise is good now.

"Bye!"we waved and droved to the prom.Here we go!!!

We reached the prom and we all got out the car.

Audrey is with Nick.Kevin,also Joe's friend is with Jane,his girlfriend and I'm with Joe.I don't know if were girlfriend/boyfriend but all I know is were friends.Thats all!

He hold my hand as I got out.He look so handsome in her tux with a purple tie that matches my dress.He bought three ties that matches my three dresses in case I would wear the red on he would also wear the red tie.Isn't he sweet.When we got in the prom is starting so we just sat down at a table.Audrey,Nick,Kevin and Jane danced while me and Joe were left at our table.

"Would you like a drink?"I nodded he then came back with a punch in his hands.

"Thanks"I thanked him."You know what.I don't like coming here.Audrey just want to have company.But I don't think she still needs me.She seems happy with your pals"I looked at them at the dance floor.

"Lets go!"he take my hand and dragged me out.

"Where?"

We just drive and drive until I saw a familiar place.'The Place'

"The Place"he nodded and we sat down on the big rock.The cold wind sent shiever through my body.He take off his jacket and put it on me.I cuddle closer to him enjoying as the sun sets.

"Demi,would you take me back?"I froze when he asked that.But I know what I'll answer to his question.And I expect it.

"Joe...I think we'll just stay friends,bestfriends though."I finally answered.

"I respect your decision"he smiled.I could see a dissapointment behind his fake smile.But I know that he wants me to be his bestfriend than nothing....
