Jack's pov

I sat on the couch with my head in my hands. We've been calling place after place just trying to find Harley. We've been trying to get her back for a year now. We miss her so much.

I felt my hands being pulled away from me and soon Alyssa was in my lap.

"They'll call!" She said. I could hear the sadness in her voice.

"What if they don't?" I asked

"They will! We will get Harley back!" She said, her voice cracking at the end.

I placed my head on her chest and listened to her steady heartbeat.

One of her hands was on my shoulder while the other was rubbing the back of my neck.

The room fell into a comfortable silence only to be interrupted by the phone ringing.

Alyssa jumped up and ran to get it.

"Hello? Yes! Mhm! Yes. Ok. Thank you. Goodbye!" Her voice cracked at the end.

I got up feeling the sadness fill the room.

"They found her!" She sobbed.

"Oh my god!!" I said and ran over to her. I picked her up and spun her around before setting her down and kissing her on the lips.

"Hurry up! We gotta get the next flight to Boston!" She said before grabbing me and pulling me to our room.

She packed a quick duffel bag while I ordered a plane ticket.

After that we grabbed everything we needed including our wallets, keys, phones, and other things.

We then left the apartment and ran out to the car. We got in the car and I started the ignition.

As I was backing up I saw Harpers car seat. I blinked away the tears as I continued to drive to the airport.

-time skip-

Alyssa's pov

We stood by the doors of the airport and we saw a black suv pull up.

A tall, skinny woman got out along with a rather bulky man.

"Alyssa and Jack Avery?" The woman asked

"Yes!" Jack said

"I believe she belongs to you!" The woman said smiling. She opened the back door and Harley was sitting in a car seat.

"Harley Dean!" I said and she looked over

"Momma!!" She said and started kicking.

I ran over with Jack and took her out of the car seat. I held her in my arms and Jack wrapped his arms around us.

"I'm never letting you go again! I missed you so much Harley! So so much!" I sobbed

"Momma!" She said lowly.

"We're never letting you go again!" Jack sobbed

I gave Harley to Jack and saw the woman smiling.

"Thank you so much!" I said and shook her hand.

"Of course! She needed her parents and the foster people are not parents!" She said

I smiled and took Harley from Jack. He picked up our bag and we walked into the airport.

Jack got us both a ticket back to la.

I held Jack's hand as we walked into Daniels apartment.

I set Harley down and she stood there holding my hand.

"Hey guys! Where have you been?" Daniel asked walking in from upstairs.

"We has to go get someone!" Jack said smiling.

Corbyn walked into the kitchen with Christina.

He picked up an apple before throwing it in the air and catching it.

I smiled and Jack moved.

Once they saw her Corbyn dropped his apple on the ground with his mouth open wide.

"Harley!" Daniel said.

He ran up and picked her up, spinning her around.

"Oh how I missed you!" He said into her shoulder.

She looked at him. "Uncle Dani! I haven't seen you since you were just a little baby! You have your own bed in my room with a whole bunch of toys!" He said

"Dani!" She said repeating Daniels name.

"Yes! Dani!" Daniel said

She smiled and hugged him.

I smiled as a tear slipped down my cheek. Jack noticed and wrapped his arm loosely around my waist, pulling me into him.

I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder.

-another time skip- (sorry bout all the time skips)

I kissed Harley's head and walked out of her room, shutting the light off and closing the door after me.

I walked into my room and took off my pants and bra before laying down in bed. Jack came in and layed down next to me. He wrapped his arms around me and I cuddled into his chest.

"I love you!" I said as my eyes started to flutter closed.

"I love you too!" He said before I fell asleep
