Chapter 1| I'll miss that face

Izuku POV
It was our 2nd year in UA high, over the summer me and kacchan became closer friends because of our classmates. Kacchan and I were walking to school together, talking about our favourite park when we were little. *BOOM* a huge explosion came from behind us, we both ran towards the city to see what the commotion.

All for one with his Villain crew and blown up a building and killed 69 (I'm so sorry but I had to) people. I immediately started running towards the people, seeing if anyone was still alive. I checked at least 68 people...they were all dead, I checked the last person...

"KACCHAN GET THIS WOMAN TO THE HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY!" She was alive, kacchan immediately ran over, picked her up and ran her to the ambulance  that was a block away. I was about to head their myself when a Villain appears in front of me...

"Your not escaping that easy!" At first I didn't feel it, but it only took a few seconds for me to feel the pain in my eyes. I fell to the ground as I heard Kacchan yelling my name...I felt my body grow cold as I felt around my eyes...I started slipping out of consciousness when someone picked me up and ran me to the hospital.

Katsuki POV
I got the woman to the ambulance, after they left for the hospital I went to see if Izuku was okay. I ran back to the clearing made by the blast, I froze as I saw the 2 blades sticking out of Izuku's eyes. When he fell to the floor that's when I started yelling his name and running towards him, as I picked him up I noticed how cold he was. He was losing blood, fast. I ran all the way to the hospital, hoping I wasn't to late, hoping he'd survive....I don't think I made it in time...

Izuku POV
*beep

I woke up to a loud beeping noise, but was I really awake? I can't see anything... I tried to move my hands only to realize that they were both being held on tightly by 2 people. I soon realized one of them was my mother, I could tell by how smooth and gentle the touch was. I still didn't know who the other person was until..

"Your awake?!" Ah, Kacchan
"Y-yeah, I think?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I can't see."
I felt his breath hitch, he started to shake, I thought he was getting angry so I tried to move my hand away. What really happened scared me more than I ever have been in my entire life..

"I'm so sorry! *sob* I d-didn't make it I-in time *sharpe inhale* I-Izuku y-your........your b-blind *sobbing* I-I'm so sorry!" I'm ... blind... I will still become a hero! It's happened before! I will still be the #1 pro hero. I'm kinda excited to take on the challenge...but the only thing I can think about is Kacchan, his face, his hands, his eyes, his shoulders, his hair...

"I'm going to get you your food, okay?"
"Yeah, I am hungry. " I said as cheerfully as possible. I heard the door open and close, the only thing I can think to say is...

"...I'll miss that face..." the tears poor down my cheeks, I wanted to see what my children look like, I wanted to see everyone's reaction when the found ou I sing, but the thing I wanted to see most was Kacchan's face when I ask him out, when we go on our first date, when he proposes, our wedding day...I won't see any of it... sight was a gift...now I'm blind
