The engaged couple arrived by boat at the Starlight Park. There were little children running around everywhere with their mothers, and fathers. Smiles on people's faces, like the smiling sun glistening above them.
"Look, Aaron! A gift shop! Can we go there? Pleaaaaseee?" Aphmau pointed at the shop with the welcoming sign, flashing rainbow lights above it.
"Why not?" He chuckled, and pulled out his heavy wallet that was loaded. Joyfully, Aphmau skipped to the gift shop's entrance, and pushed open the door without hesitation. In her mind, it was like heaven in the girls' aisle. Toys everywhere, teddys, Barbies, candy, balloons, jewerly. There was even Starlight Wonderland merchandise. Aaron chuckled from afar as he watched her giggle and touch all the fluffy stuffed animals.
"So, which one do you want?"
"All of them!" She jumped in delight.
"Sure." He didn't care. As long as she was happy, he was too.
"Hehe! Yay!"
And with that, Aphmau put all her gifts to down on the cashier's counter. Aaron pulled out his credit card and handed it to the cashier.
"Excuse me, how old are you?" The cashier asked.
"Me? Oh, I'm 25.. "
The cashier stared at Aphmau, looking back at the toys, and candy, then back at her, bewildered.
"Um, sorry ma'am..This is only served for children." He said, pushing all the items back to her. Aaron glared at him with the evil eye. His blood boiled. He felt heat spread inside him. Aphmau stared back at the cashier, her face puffy pink, as well as her eyes, preparing for the arrival of her prickly tears.
