"Joshua?!"

"Julia?!"

Julia got up to embrace him with a warm longing hug. "Oh my God, it's really you." Slowly, tears were running down her cheeks as little sighs exhaled out of her chest. He was in her arms after such a long time. The idea of Joshua existing was great but having him standing in front of her exhausted eyes made her heart flipped in joy.

"I've missed you." She kissed his cheek lovingly. Taking back their sweet old innocent high-school memories. She took his scent in and started to sob. "You're really here." She grasped the back of his shirt. "You're really here." Repeating her words, her breaths shakily escaped her mouth, unable to express how much happiness was filling her soul.

But what did she get in return? Not even a flash of smile from Joshua Hong. His face was pale and the conventional bags under his eyes were worse, making them hollow. 

"Julia." He called out, sharing a glance with her.
"Yeah?" She replied.

The sweet caring Joshua was looking into her eyes blankly.
It wasn't the same.
It didn't feel the same.
Something was different and Julia felt it for a short glimpse.

Her smile slowly faded away as she realized something was making both of them unease. She pulled away from the hug.

"I'm sorry."
Those were the only words that could escape from his lips before leaving Julia in the coffee shop, standing, confused.

Hey!

2019 was a hectic year for me and there were a lot of things I needed to think about, and wattpad wasn't one of them.

There are hundreds of paragraphs sitting in my draft and some part of me still has the joy of writing. So anyway, here is "Beside Forever".

I appreciate all of your support on "Beside" and I hope you will enjoy reading this one as much as I enjoy(ed) writing and just thinking about it.

My goal is to finish this before my 2020 quarantine ends because I don't know if I will have just as much time to relax, sit down, and think about stuff like this.
