Hey, y'all! So, I wanted to apologize again for missing last week's chapter. I had a lot of homework and stuff. I hope you can understand.
Anywho, I did take the voting pole and option A (bring Danny back) won. For those of you who voted differently, I hope you'll still stick with me through the rest of the story. There will be many more voting opportunities :)ZACK'S EARS perked as he heard the sound of screams. What was going on? He got up from the bed in Recovery Girl's, making sure she wasn't looking to make sure she wouldn't bodyslam him back into it.
He peeked out of the blinds, shielding his eyes from the sudden bright sun. Outside, he saw his class running outside and joining the huge crowd right next to the large cement wall. He closed the blinds and ran out of the room, wanting to see what the whole ruckus was about.
As he ran down the hall, something choked him and held him back. He fell backwards to see Recovery Girl clutching his hood.
"Young man, I don't remember dismissing you," She said and started dragging him back to her office, Zack kicking to get out of her grip.
He was unsuccessful.
"Hey, Granny, why do you care so much about me?" Zack asked before he could stop himself.
"Because you're just a little boy in a big body. So, I take it upon myself to teach you what you need to know."
Zack snorted. "I don't know anything."
"That doesn't mean you can't learn, though," Recovery Girl replied.
Meanwhile, Rachel ran after Deku, Iida, and Uraraka. Apparently, the one that warned everyone was a kid named Monoma, and apparently nobody seemed to like him. Rachel wasn't sure why, though, he seemed like a decent person.
A better person than she was, anyway.
Rachel tugged a little on Deku's sleeve, making him turn around, his face really close to hers. She didn't react, but Deku's face turned bright red and he backed up a little.
"Deku, do you think we're allowed to go on top of the wall?" Rachel asked the green-haired boy.
"I don't see why not," Deku replied with a shrug.
"OK, I'll go see," Rachel told him and spread out her wings, flapping them up to the top of the wall.
She searched for a crowd of villains, but didn't see anything. Instead, there was only one person.
A person that Rachel knew all too well. Her blue orbs widened.
"Everyone!" She yelled and caught everyone's attention. "It's a false alarm!" Most people sighed in relief and turned back, walking towards the cafeteria again, bummed that they used up time that they could have used to eat. Just as Rachel's friends started turning back, Deku jumped onto the wall, standing right next to Rachel, towering over her even if he wasn't that tall.
"Rachel..." he whispered, concern lacing his voice. "Who's down there?"
Rachel cleared her throat. "I don't think you want to know. Go back inside, Deku, and tell Zack that he's back. He'll know what I'm talking about."
"And what are you going to do?" Deku asked her. Rachel rummaged through her small, black bag and took out a needle with some red thread.
"I think it's time he joined my perfect family, especially after everything he's done for me," Rachel told him with a small smile. Deku's features softened and he nodded, jumping down. Rachel's smile turned into a glare once Deku left.
She jumped down he wall and started walking towards the psychopath that had tried to take out her eyes. A shadow was cast over her eyes as she walked towards him.
