THE SOUND OF THE WHISTLE was like music to everyone's ears. Each class stuck together, diverging in different directions, hoping they had picked the right side of the ten-acre forest to conquer first.

1-A headed west, where Kota had said he sensed most animals, which could be a signal to the much needed water source. Iida zoomed in front of the group, the others trying their best to keep up. Zack and Rachel took flight and surveyed from above as best as they could.

The two still didn't have much of a hang of their winged quirks, but they were capable of staying twenty or so feet in the air without crashing for a few solid minutes.

Rachel had to admit, she didn't want to come back to land. She felt like she was a bird set free, finally liberated from the shackles that had bound her for so long.

"Ray, look," Zack called, pointing to the body of water that lay a few yards ahead of Iida. She nodded and dove down to land, hoping to help surround the scanner before the leader claimed the spot.

The other students joined her in under a minute, all of them murmuring as the leader quickly claimed the spot. They all cheered and decided to leave Sero and Kaminari to guard the spot.

Zack was still up in the air, keeping guard. He caught a glimpse of another, bigger body of water, but saw that class 1-B had beat them to that one. He continued to survey the land given to them, until he saw a cave.

It was hot as balls out here, and god knows they needed a cool place to stay and maybe even sleep. He put two fingers into his mouth and whistles as loudly as possible, the signal he and Rachel had agreed on when one of them would go back up to the sky and guide the class to the place they spotted.

He watched as Rachel motioned for the class to follow her, then looked up for his signal again. He pointed ahead, at the tall wall of sandstone that bordered the ten acres of forest, where the opening of a cave could be seen.

Even though trees could provide some shade, the coolness of a cave would be very beneficial for both sleeping and storing food if needed.

The class raced to the spot, all of them crowding around the scanner as they claimed their spots.

This continued on for at least an hour: Class 1A had claimed a cave, a pond, a clearing with an oddly big tree in the middle, and a field full of flowers. Class 1B, on the other hand, claimed a thick canopy of trees, a rushing river, a lake, and a dryer, sandstone-covered area.

Class 1B had an advantage when it came to bathing and water sources now, even if 1A has Todoroki for water. This would put them at a disadvantage this week, whether they wanted to admit it or not.

"All spots have been claimed. Currently, both classes are tied with a claim on 4 spots each. The items you asked for have been dropped off at the first spot you claimed. Remember the rules," Aizawa's voice announced over a loud speaker.

The class had stuck together, so finding their way back to the first checkpoint was quite easy. There, awaiting, sat two handy-dandy porta-potty.

"Thank god it's here, I need to take a dump," Mineta announced and began marching towards the male one.

"Not so fast, Kool-Aid on steroids," Bakugo barked, causing the smaller boy to stop on his tracks. "Isn't there a field of flowers somewhere over there? Why don't some of you go pick some of those so that it doesn't smell too bad of shit?"

Bakugo had been the decently calm, which was honestly quite mortifying.

"Good idea," Rachel chimes and turned to her trusty partner in crime, "c'mon Zack its Flower Time."

"The hell?" He muttered. "Ray why don't you take litreally anybody else?"

"Because I want to pick flowers with you," she insisted, pulling on his sleeve. Yet again, The Bandages ™️ covered up his blazing red face. He grumbled but relented, knowing all too well she could talk him into it even if he didn't want to.

As the two wandered away, Uraraka elbowed Tsuyu. "Bet they end up together," she whispered.

"Uraraka! It's rude to bet on people's relationships."

"C'mon don't be a party pooper," the brunette whined to her green- haired friend.

"I'm not betting on something I know I'll lose, thank you very much. They're too obvious, and yet they don't even realize it..."
