chapter 1:freshman year

the  time read 7:30 the alarm clock in bright red colour when i bolted up from my  bed realizing that i'm late and have only  few minutes left to get ready for school not just any school day but first day of high school as a freshman, I immediately rush to the bathroom and started getting ready while I was getting ready I called my friends guneesh and Clarisse, we have been best friends since diapers we are more like sisters its also their first day , did I mention we are going to attend of the most prestigious schools in new York its a school mainly for rich kids because the school fees can only be afforded by kids whose parents are loaded like us.

   "hey guys how are you feeling nervous, excited, scared or  perfect ?" I asked feeling a bit anxious.

  "i'm not sure ask me when i'm in front of school. how about you clari"  guneesh Said in a passive tone.                
  " I'm actually feeling great guys I'm positive we have nothing to worry about our parents are as rich as theirs even more we are all smart beautiful and strong minded girls so they've got nothing on us besides what's the worst that could happen we are going in together anyways so as long as we stick together it will all be good" said  the positive one among us clari thank god for her if not I will be a ball of nerves all day.

and besides she is right they can't intimidate us in any way we are smart beautiful young women what's the worst that could happen right.     

"yeah you are right clari its just that I heard not so great rumours  about that  I just hope they aren't true". I explained feeling a bit nervous

"you mean the one about the bullying by the so called queen of the school angela morris". guneesh asked with a hint of sarcasm in her voice she really hates that girl right from kindergarten she had always been a pain in everyone's ass and now she happens to be on top of the social ladder in Richmond high I just hope guneesh  woundn't confront her as its our first day I don't want any trouble .

"yeah I also heard about it but she wouldn't dare come after us i'm sure of it" said clari

"and what makes you so sure of that huh" said guneesh 

"well we all know her mum has been trying to get a sit in the high table among the council for years and also her dad has been not so subtlely trying to get the partnership deal amongst our parents if anything she will be dying to be close to us and make our parents see how sje is like an elder sister to us". clari explained while  guneesh snorted on the elder sister part and I laughed on that part too.

"you are right but we can't let our guide down either ways lets not forget how she is always been so jealous of and  always trying to prove she is way better ".

"that's that but just so you know one wrong move from her and i'm reaping out her fake extensions right out of her head" said guneesh in a pissed off tone she hates the idea of being intimated or bullied by anyone.

"I second that motion i'm not letting her do as she please either she can control the whole school for all I care as long as she stays clear i'm cool with it" I said feeling slightly annoyed too I'm not about to let some bratty fake ass butch like her put a number on me either.

"I second that motion guys lets hope things go as planned". Clari said also a bit annoyed but still calm and hopeful she is the voice of reasoning in our group so if things are about to get out of hand I can count on her to keep the peace.

ok guys I've got to go now we are already late see you in school bye" I said

"bye" they both said in unison and cut the call 
I began combing my hair and i'm almost ready for school

this is my complete outfit its simple and cute plus i'm already late so I can't worry about it too much, I went downstairs in a hurry I live in a big mansion my family is one of the richest family in the country alongside gunesh and clari's so we are quite the rich girls .

I see my parents already sitting by the breakfast table eating  breakfast along with my elder brother his name is alexander he is older than me by 5 years and is working with my dad in the company he is my only sibling and is the most annoying person in the world.

so I hurriedly go to great them and eat as much as I can." good morning mum and dad "

morning sweetie my mum said. good morning my princess how was your night I hope you slept well". my dad said.

"it was fine dad". i'm an incurable daddy's girl and also his favourite considering i'm his only daughter.

"hey asshole just my terrible luck you had to be here" i said to my brother

"hey little bug i'm surprised mum and dad haven't kicked you out yet considering you are a waste of space" said toby

"hey stop being so mean to your sister alex " my dad said to him sternly while I was snickering at the fact that he got scolded. 

alex  scoffed went back to eating breakfast while I just took an apple and was about to go but not before "accidentally"  spilling  my orange juice on alex and he screamed at me saying he had a meeting to attend that morning while I just said whoops sorry my bad and then he glared at me about to say something before dad said don't worry about it it was and accident this time I was holding my laugh in about to burst , you see this is why I love my dad he is always on my side.

my mum was trying not to laugh at our exchange cause she is already used to us playing childish pranks at each other.

I kissed my parents on their cheeks and then left to the car  which is an suv because I'm gong with my driver and body guard.

Yes I have a bodyguard my parents are overprotective of me and sometimes they take things to the extreme and frankly it can be very exhausting, oh well there is nothing I can do about that I have a feeling first day of school wouldn't be so bad.
