chapter 3:lunch

its almost lunch time we have been attending classes all morning ,its been tiring but but i'm not really complaining because i'm a nerd at heart .

first we head to our locker to drop our books then we went to the school cafeteria for lunch but something wasn't right and the girls noticed it too , everyone was staring at us for some reason if we were the only new students we would have understood but we are not lots of our mates also resumed today as its the first day of freshman year so why are they all staring .

when we came in the morning no one really cared so whats thier deal.

deciding that i've had enough i looked back and asked "what is it why are you staring ? is there something on our faces ? " they didn't reply they just focused on their phones instead .

"hey don't worry about it maybe they just found out who our parents are and thier just curious i mean we knew people will be uneccessarily interested in us because just chill ok " clari said trying to ease my tension.

"ok common bathroom break everyone lets just go and cool down and ignore everything else" guni pushed us all into the bathroom to cool down its something we have always done ever since we were little we will all go wash our faces with cold water to calm ourselves down .

guneesh entered one of the stalls to used the toilet we waited by the corridor , then two girls entered bathroom and then entered one of the stalls together they didn't see us cause they were in a hurry .

guneesh came out but before we could leave we heard the saying something about a school rumour normally i we wouldn't be interested but considering how weird people were acting ealier on we decided to listen " so tell me is it true " one of them said " relax i wil tell you all about it , well i'm not sure if it will happen but people are saying it will and some are not so sure " the other one said

"what will?" guneesh asked me and clari shrugged saying we don't know and then we signalled for her to keep quiet so we could hear what they were saying.

"well the rumour going around is that the three freshmen girls are going to dethrone angela morris and be the new queen bitches of school " the other one continued

we all looked and nearly screamed what but had to hold ourselves considering we were eavesdropping.

"omg are you sure about it but why does everyone thinks so" the first one asked and we were also dying to know to.

"urgh do you live under a rock don't you know how to connect the dots , fine i will explain everything . we all know grace ,guneesh and clarisse's family are the wealthiest among the council right , and also the fact that they have a seat in the high table and that angela's mum doesn't i mean those girls are basically on top of the food chain here" the other one explained

"yeah but that doesn't authomatically mean they want to take over now does it" the first one said. "i mean look at guzman his family are also seated at the high table but he is not some king of school angela" she continued

" yes but the thing is that the girls and angela have a not so friendly history i kmean did you see the way they greeted each other the tension, hostility and fake smiles could be felt from a mile away and lets not forget guneesh's not so nice comment about angela and besides why would angela approach them and act all nice , the reason is she feels treathened by them and wants to hold her title strong" the other one explained.

now that i think about it she is kinda right she wouldn't have approached us .

" yeah you are totally right this school year will be interesting" the first one said
