6 - Jealous

Saiki's POV

I'm grateful I had the opportunity to slip away from those two, Nendo and Kaidou. I have no idea what Saki saw in Kaidou anyways.

I looked forward to see the light blue haired girl sitting eating ramen.

"Oi! Saki!" I say.

"Kusuo," she says in a cold tone.

"Saki," I say, "you sitting alone?"

"So?" She says slurping a noodle.

I sigh as I sit down.

"Mr. I'm not obsessed with any girls," she laughs.

"Stupid, I'm just trying to get away from Nendo and Kaidou," I say.

"Right," She says, "and you chose to sit with the psychic that wants to breed with you?"

"I know," I laugh, "but you're more decent than others."

"In that case," she says drinking her tea.

"Saiki!" I hear Kaidou say.

"Hello Kaidou, you want ramen with me?" She asks.

Saki's POV

"Sure! I'll be over!" He smiles.

I smirk at Saiki. I can see it in his eyes; Jealousy.

"Someone is jealous," I laugh.

"No, I'm not, you are!" Saiki says.

"Do you mind then if I share ramen and shoo you away?" I ask.

"No problem," he says porting away.

Kaidou sat as I looked at him.

We'll see who's jealous now.

"So, hows your first week at PK?" He asks.

"It's okay," I smile, "it's just a little hard adjusting."

"I understand, it seems Aiura and Toritsuka have been obsessed with you," he laughs, "they claim you and Saiki are the same."

I laugh, "well, Saiki's cold and resistant, I'm warm and welcoming to most."

"Yeah I kinda like- gah!" He shrieks as the water spilt on him.

"Oh my god! Are you okay?" I say knowing full well Saiki did this.

"I'm fine, really," he smiles, "I'll see you around, Saki."

I wave as I ran around the ally to port to Saiki. He stood on top of a building as he turned to see me.

"I don't know what you're doing, but it needs to stop," I say.

"Look who's talking," he smirks.

"Don't get snarky with me Kusuo," I say.

"Oh, so first names now?" He says.

"You know what, if you're not interested in me, then stop ruining my interactions with Kaidou," I say.

"Oh come on Saki," he says, "not like you two will get married and tell your little secret."

I breathed out not knowing any good combat.

"You're right," I huff, "but I am sure not going to be with someone so cold and not fun like you."

I turned around realizing I was on a building. All of the sudden, he pushed me off as I began to fall. I screamed as he flew down and caught me bridal style.

"Bet your little friend can't save you like that," he smirks.

"You and I maybe psychic, but there's only so much we can save others from," I say hoping out of his arms, "Ichiro died, he was a physic, you can too."

I turned as he stopped me.

"What if Kaidou did ask you out?" He asks.

"I would obviously say yes," I say.

Saiki's POV

Did she really just say that? I mean, I don't like her or anything, and it's weird her brother has a mating call for us, but still. She shouldn't be with that dolt.

"You and I maybe psychic, but there's only so much we can save others from," she says hoping out of my arms, "Ichiro died, he was a physic, you can too."

The words ran through my head as I saw her walk away.

"Saiki-Kun!" I hear Teruhashi.

I quickly turned to see her grab onto my arm.

"I will admit my feelings to him on Monday!" She thinks.

Good grief. Why do I feel lost as hell. She's really screwing me up.

"I'm not, you're doing it to yourself Kusuo," she says.
