Hicca has gotten herself together, and was watching as her father loaded Toothless onto a ship. She watched the ships sail away, and she was staring out at empty ocean long after they left. She just didn't find reason to move, after all, she might never see any of them again.
"You must feel pretty awful." She knew that voice, Aston.
"You've lost everything, your father, your tribe, your best friend." Aston Said, and Hicca sighed.
"Thank you Aston for summing that up." She said miserably, and Aston looked at her. Hicca sighed, as she stared out at the ocean.
"Why couldn't I have killed that dragon when I found him in the woods? It would have been better for everyone." She said, and Aston smiled.
"The rest of us would have, so why didn't you? Why didn't you?" Aston asked, as he looked at Hicca.
"I don't know, I couldn't." Hicca said, as she looked down.
"That's not an answer." Aston Said, and Hicca sighed in aggravation.
"Why is this so important to you all of a sudden?!?" Hicca Cried out, as she looked at Aston.
"Because I want to remember what you say, right now." Aston Said, and Hicca looked conflicted.
"For the love of, I was a coward. I was weak, I wouldn't kill a dragon." Hicca said, and Aston could see the pent up emotions she held.
"You said wouldn't that time." Aston Said, and Hicca spun and looked at him.
"Oh whatever, I wouldn't. Three hundred years and I'm the first Viking who wouldn't kill a dragon." Hicca Cried out, as she was waving her arms around like crazy.
"First to ride one though." Aston Said, and Hicca looked defeated.
"So?" Aston pushes, and Hicca sighed.
"I wouldn't kill him because he looked just as frightened as I was, I looked at him and saw myself." Hicca said, and Aston smiled slightly.
"I bet he's really frightened right now? So, what are you gonna do about it?" Aston Asked as Hicca looked down, then at her.
"Eh, probably something stupid." Hicca admitted, as she rubbed the back of her neck. Not caring her hair was falling out of her usual hairstyle.
"Good, But you've already done that." Aston Said, and Hicca gained a slight smile and a hopeful expression.
"Then something crazy." She said before she ran off, Aston smiled.
"That's more like it." Aston Said, as he chased after her.
