Wrong Choice

Third person POV

The alarm rang at 7:00 am in the morning, in Irene's room. She woke up and laid in her bed for a while until she decided to get out of bed and get ready for school, she went into the bathroom brushed her teeth and did her morning routine. Irene made her way down stairs to find her parents sitting down chatting like usual, she said good morning and ate her breakfast. After finishing breakfast Irene went to her room and got ready for school and picked out her outfit which was a pair of jeans and a grey hoodie.

As for Y/N she got up earlier than her usual time and got ready for school and saw that Jennie was already awake and said good morning and went to brush her teeth and do her morning routine, after that she went to pick out her outfit and ate breakfast and went out the door, but this time she took a different route to school.

Irene's Pov

I was picking out my outfit for today and was getting ready until I heard a knock on my door and my mom told me it was my friend and I thought that was weird because most of my friends don't live close to where I live and that no one comes over to walk to school with me, but I didn't think much to it and grabbed my bag and went down stairs to find Y/N sitting on my couch talking to my parents I said hi and we both left and went to school.

"so why did you decided to come and walk me to school?" I asked Y/N

"I didn't want you to be in danger on your way to school since there are more creatures going after you." Y/N said to me and I admit I'm scared of those things.

"oh ok thank you" I said back politely

"no problem"Y/N said back smiling and I smiled back

Y/N pov

When me and Irene arrived at school people were staring at us but I didn't mind the attention and walked Irene to her locker and said bye and walked off to my locker, I got my books and went to my homeroom and since my dad is the principle of this school I asked him to switch my class to every class Irene had and he didn't ask why which made it easier.

The bell rang and I walked to class and saw Irene sitting near the window and I notice that the seat next to her's was empty so I set my books on the table and sat down, I guess Irene saw me and said hi and I said hi back and then suddenly boy with brown hair came up to me and grabbed me by my shirt.

"hey what do you think your doing sitting in my seat" he yelled angrily

I laughed a bit and said" there aren't assigned seats in this class so I can sit here even if you call it you seat"

"who do you think you are I've never seen you in this class before are you new?"he said still being angry

"I just got moved into this class and my name is Y/N what about you" I said back at him

"my names Taehyung or V and get out of my seat before I punch you" He said back at me, Taehyung huh he's known as the prince of this school.

"go ahead and punch me if you dare" I said back and that made him pretty pissed.

"you little.."Taehyung said

Before I could say anything back he swung his fist at me I was gonna dodge his fist but then I realized if I did Irene would get hit so I used my hands and grabbed his fist before he could punch me and the impact hurt my hand. Irene quickly got up realizing why I didn't just duck to dodge his punch because she knew it would hit her.

"Taehyung stop this isn't even your seat go sit somewhere else" Irene yelled back at him, woah I've never seen Irene get angry but she's pretty scary.

"Fine, I won't go so easy on you next time we meet" Taehyung said as he walked away with his friends.

"you ok Y/N?" Irene asked sounding concerned

"yah just my hand hurts a bit but I'll get through it thanks for worrying" I said back smiling

"no problem" Irene said back with a smile.

Third Person pov

Class went on like any normal day until the bell rang for lunch time Y/N and Irene bid goodbyes and went to their locker Y/N put her books back and walked over to Irene's locker to walk to lunch together when she got their she saw Irene and Seulgi talking, She decided to go up to both of them and walk to lunch together and so the group of friends walked to lunch together and sat down talking peacefully until Damon decided to show up again.

Irene's pov

At the lunch table we were all talking and laughing until I felt someone tap my shoulder and realized it was Damon who tried to kill me and soon all my friends were looking at him I guess Y/N sensed how scared I was and spoke up.

"what do you want Damon" Y/N said trying to not sound angry

"I just wanted to talk to Irene that's all" Damon said back, talk to him no way am I talking to him

"She's not going anywhere with you" Y/N said

"well she will" Damon said and grabbed me by my wrist and dragged me to follow him

But soon I saw Y/N get up from her seat and grabbed my other hand and told Damon to let go of me.

"let go of her now" Y/N said angrily

"No" Damon said back

After that Y/N pulled me by force and told Damon that I'm not going anywhere with him and I guess he got mad and almost harm me but realized we where surrounded by many people and walked off and left. After that we finished eating and didn't speak about anything that just happened in the lunch room.

Third Person Pov

School ended when the bell rung the group of friends bid goodbye and walked home and Y/N was about to walk Irene home but she insisted that she could walk home alone and so Y/N agreed and left.

But on the way home Irene heard a weird noise coming from the corner with curiosity she went to check out what the sound was and that was the wrong choice to make.

Irene's pov

I heard a weird noise coming from the corner when I was walking home and I decided to check out what it was but soon my decision wasn't the best cause what I saw was a creature that was eating a human I was about to run but the monster saw me and I ran and it chased after me as I ran I remembered that Y/N said to call her name if I was in danger but I wasn't sure if that would work but I still did.

"Y/N help..!" I yelled after a few minutes I saw someone running towards me and I realized it was Y/N she grabbed my hand and asked me whats wrong.

"why'd you call me what's wrong" Y/N asked and I pointed at the monster still running after me

Soon when the monster caught up Y/N punched it's face and chest area and the monster turned into a black smoke and I guess that meant it died.

"you ok you didn't get hurt right?" Y/N asked me

"Yah...I'm fine" I said back still scared

"alright that's good let me walk you home"Y/N said and I nodded and once we reached my house we said bye to each other and I went inside trying to forget about what happened by doing my homework and after I finished I got ready for bed and slowly drifted off to sleep.
