"Lara, Lara, please let's get out of here, I'm exhausted.." I tried grabbing her wrist but she shrugged me of, obviously intoxicated. "Relax, seriously, it's a party, drink, dance!" She slurred as she pushed me in the middle of the dance floor. "I'm going home then!" I exclaimed as sped off towards the front door. I looked behind me to see if she was chasing after me but the alcohol had consumed her and she was too far gone. I knew I shouldn't have come to the party but Lara was one hell of a convincer. I opened the Uber app, silently cursing my supposed best friend. "Wow," I jumped and turned around to face the voice. It was Alyx, I rolled my eyes. "What do you want?" I asked scathingly. I'm not going to lie, Alyx is beautiful, if anyone asked me describe Alyx in only a few words, I would say, sculpted by a god. Caramel colored skin, dark brown eyes, rich, thick, black hair, and a big beautiful smile were some of my favorite characteristics of his. His personality on the other hand was carved out by the devil himself. "I haven't even said anything, I'm just impressed, really, the biggest party of senior year is happening in there and you're standing by the door waiting for an Uber tsk tsk." He shook his beer can before chugging, wiping his wife and laughing. I officially hate all drunk teenagers. I rolled my eyes and tried to ignore him. "You know what Angel, some people say you're a b*tch but honestly speaking I think you're just misunderstood. Your shyness is mistaken for a terrible attitude. You run from parties because you see the truth in people, their drunk and I'm drunk because our lives are sh*t! Us suburban kids, ya know, we cant complain when our lives are sh*t cause we have everything! Right?" He took a step closer and I pushed him away, frankly, he reeked of vodka. "Dude, you stink." I pinched my nose to try to prove my point. He took a step back. "I'm being serious Angel, my life's f*cked up! My parents are getting f*cking divorced!" For a second I thought he was going to cry. "Alyx, you're missing it! Jamie's about to chug half a bottle of vodka!" Randall ran in full speed almost bumping into the sad boy. Randall didn't even greet me and before I knew it he was dragging Alyx away. For a second I thought I was in some twisted dream. The hottest guy in school just confessed to me that his parents were getting divorced? Now what do I do about that?
