"I hate you" yells Madison as he slams her phone. Tears rolling down her face, wishing the man she loved, loved her back. At the age of 18 she was madly in love (well she thought she was) with a 25 year old man.. His name was Deion, but went by the name Dee. He was a tall handsome young man, looks could kill, but he had many unacttractive flaws. He was a street thug. He grew up in a long line family of drug dealers and pimps. He had beautiful twin daughters, who was his world. People tried warning Madison about him, but all she saw was the good in him. They had been dating for 8 months and Madison really felt like this was true love. Dee always spoiled her and showered her with gifts.

She wiped her tears as her roommate, Chanel. entered the room. "Hey girl where have you been?" asked Madison. "Girl, I was in the library with a few of my classmates", replied Chanel. Madison and Chanel were college roommates, and they were totally opposite. Chanel was very sweet, smart, and ambitious. Madison had similiar traits, but she was more on the wild side. While Chanel would be studying, Madi would be out with her friends drinking, clubbing, or Chasing Deion. But don't get it twisted, she stayed up on her work. "Well Chanel I will see you later", Madison said as he left their room.

She loved college, it was the life, especially since she could share it with her two best friends Justin and Aliah. They were three peas in a pod, the three muskateers, their bond was unbreakable. She loved her friends. But she could not tell them where she was heading off to. As she pulled in the driveway, she looked around as she noticed all the Js walking around, high as hell, and without a care in the world. She sighed as she got out of the car. "What are you doing here?" Deion yelled. "I told you I was coming", she yelled back. He greeted her with a kiss, that made her heart flutter."Missed you baby", she said. He smiled and said, "go in the house til I come in there". She did as she was told.

A few hours later he came in , she could tell he was angry. One of his Js must have been acting up, she thought to herself. Madsion tried to consul him, but he pushed her into the wall face first. Madison felt a pain in her jaw and she knew it would leave a bruise. Tears in her eyes, Madison knew Deion loved her deep down, but why was she the only one that could see it? Deion was rough. She felt it was because of his crazy childhood. She knew that one day she could help Deion and he would be the man that she dreamed of him being.

Madison was a country girl, very family oriented and she loved God. But every since her best friend Derek had died she had become more of a loner. Her and Derek had been friends as long as she could remember, and even though she never told anyone Derek was the love of her life. She alway felt like they would end up together, but Derek was no longer here and Madison longed for the love and attemtion he use to give her. Deion made her feel better. He was there when she felt like she had no one. He was there when she lost her baby, which brought them closer since the baby's father had left when he found out she was expecting.

Back at school Justin and aliah were waiting on Madison to get back. "Girl where have you been?", asked Aliah. "and what the hell is that bruise doing on your face?". Madison put her head down and sighed. "It better not be from Deion", Justin yelled. "NO! I ran into a door, Deion would never put his hands on me", Madison yelled back. "While we're sitting here discussing me we need to be going to get this bottle", she said. They all got up and went to the liquor store and together they purchased a bottle of cheap liquor and went back to Aliah room and got wasted. Madison and her friends got drunk at least 3 days out of the week. Little did they know Madi was trying to drink her problems away. She had plenty of them, but she didn't want anyone feeling sorry for her so she kept them to herself.

Most girls wanted so badly to be Madison. Her life seemed so perfect. She had great parents, she was so beautiful, and she always got what she wanted. They were on the outside looking in so nobody really knew her internal struggles.
