After a couple of weeks, Madison and Corey were a couple. They spent a lot of time together because it was summertime. Corey didn't have a 9-to-5, he was his own his boss (if you know what I mean). Madison was a total bad girl and she had a strong love for bad boys.By her being with Deion she had become very bad. Corey accepted that.
One night Corey called her and said, "sweetheart I just want you to know that I'm working late tonight", Madison heart dropped as she whispered the words "I love you" for the first time to Corey. He said it back and hung up the phone. Madison knew Corey's line of work was very dangerous so if they never spoke again she wanted him to know how she felt. Her being with Corey made her realize that the feelings she felt for Deion was infatuation. She was only with him because he was there at her lowest point. She didn't really love Deion, he was really just convient for her at the time. A few hours later, Corey called and said he was okay and he had made it home. Madison instantly felt relieved. She could finally get her some sleep.
Madison and Corey were every's couple dream. They were going steady. Both of their families loved them. They made each other lives complete. So complete that Corey started talking about starting a family. The talk of family brought back the pain of Madison's miscarriage. Nobody but her, her friends, and Deion knew about it, along with her child's father. She decided to share the painful story with Corey. He held her as she cried, longing for her beautiful child that she never got a chance to meet. She smiled at the fact that he as able to comfort her, but she told him she wasn't ready for children yet. He accepted her decision.
Everyone admired their love for each other. It was beautiful to see such a young couple so in love. They held each other down and they both were happy. Neither of them imagined that their nightmare would soon begin.
