Rylinn quickly gets ready for the bonfire as she pulls on a pair of skinny jeans and Liam's sweater. Scott waiting for her outside, his bike running. She walks outside and pulls on a helmet, before she and her brother ride off. It's not long before they arrive at school. Music blasting, people dancing, it's exactly why Rylinn didn't want to go in the first place.
"Hey. What are you doing here?" Scott says to Malia, Rylinn searching the crowd for her boyfriend and best friend.
"Getting drunk. What are you doing?" Malia says it like it's obvious.
"Trying to make sure no one gets hurt." Scott answers.
"That sounds fun too." Malia says before she takes a drink from her flask.
"I don't want to ruin your night or anything, but we kind of can't get drunk."
"What?" Malia says in confusion.
"I think it has something to do with our healing. But, trust me, I've tried. You're not gonna feel anything." Scott explains.
"Maybe you should tell him that." Malia nods her head over to Liam. Rylinn immediately heading in that direction.
Rylinn sits down in between, Liam and Mason. Mason hands her a cup but she shakes her head at the offer.
Liam fills his bottle of cola with some alcohol before chugging it all down. Rylinn and Mason watching him with raised eyebrows.
"Not gonna tell me to slow down?" Liam says to Mason.
"Actually, I was gonna say, 'Keep drinking'. I think you should get drunk. And I mean stumbling down, fall on your ass, passed out with your face in a toilet drunk. Both of you." Mason turns to face Rylinn.
"Why?" Liam laughs.
"Maybe then when I ask you two what's going on, you'll be too drunk to lie. I'm not asking this because I want to know. I'm asking because I want to help." Mason explains.
"I'm gonna get another drink. Yeah... I'm getting drunk." Liam says, taking Rylinn's hand and pulling her up. She shrugs her shoulders walking with him.
They two lovebirds come back, Liam with a drink in his hand. He turns to Rylinn smiling at her, she looks at him in confusion, her eyebrows furrowed in amusement. Mason just staring at them in annoyance. Rylinn sits back down next to Mason, Liam still staring at his friends. He stumbles down, Rylinn and Mason quickly getting up to help him.
Scott goes over to them with Malia by his side. He sits her down by the three freshman. Rylinn quickly gets hit with a wave of dizziness, she sways to one side leaning onto Liam.
